FCP being that good is not realistic though. Except for a few college teams, it is not a good tactic and shouldn't be on here either unless you are against weak opp where any D would work anyway.

Other points, agreed.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

If the original creators are like me and my friends with our game they probably care a little but not enough to actually do anything. That is their right. Naturally I think they should take the small risk and get another BB or three to do some work on the game.

So whats the point in starting a business and then leaving it at its peak to work for someone else? xD

If you and your friends created a game with nearly 70k users and you want to walk away from it, I would recommend to either find somebody who continues the success story or try to get the big payday many startups have seen in the past.

I think somebody who never owned a business has a different point of view on this issue, maybe thats why I have a hard time arguing with some users here.

Not saying they shouldn't have sold the business while the going was good. However, my understanding is that they are all academics who may not have much interest in a business. The academic life is hectic anyway and has different metrics.

I find it amusing that there is argument on how other people should deal with the decisions in their lives.

I find it amusing that no GM came out to remind the topic : buying a second team ! :°)
Still, there are different points of view. I like this kind of discussions, where the limit between professional ethics of running a business, the passion of a youths' project and the RL ( personnal ) decisions get in a kind of confrontation.

Besides, it could be interesting to analyse how a community of users try to keep " owners' " business running on ... i think i will meditate on this last sentance !
