I never came close to best ticket sales in a single game, or have even half the largest arenas. But I feel like my ticket revenue all in all was pretty good.

For all 11 games this season, I pulled in $1,106,255. That's 135k more than anyone else in my league.

I got $ 1 265 665. I'm not sure if anyone has surpassed me during the last week, but i think i got at least a top3 overall income.

I even got $ 70 538 for my first playoff match. That would be a big fat $ 141 076.

I went 11 - 11 (4th in Div) and pulled $1 423 134, not too bad with a 6600 stadium that was 5500 most of the season.

Great effort by yourself to have promoted to Div III in Utopia.

I believe myself and most of the others mentioned in this thread are still in Div IV

1,074,125 with an 18-4 record. Hurt by two losses by a total of 5 points to my rival and an opening season 1 point loss on the toad.

What I'm worried about is that the average Net Income in the league is 50k+ while I'm making ~10k. IF I don't promote this year, life might get tough.

The absolute worst one can do is clear however: Spend it all to achieve promotion and fail
Absolutely

Yes, it's nice to have a few hundred thousand extra. As for the widely used "I don't compete, I only build" strategy in Utopia, time will tell. Whether this is the best financial approach depends on how much harder it will be to promote eventually as seasons go by

Maybe I was lucky with the league im in, but I believe that it is possible to; build a stadium, train trainees and be competitive all at the same time.

Lucky enough to have a 20 2 win loss record for this season whilst recording a 90 to 100K weekly profit for most of the season and also receiving $ 1 309 002 in gate receipts for this season.

I possibly could have promoted last season only I made the mistake of throwing a couple of league games to keep a cup run going longer than it should have and couldnt stoop to buying cheap geriatrics for the finals

That said Im not all that happy with all my remaining trainees and might take a step back (getting one or more new trainees) regardless of whether I promote or not
