Please take a step back and notice whose posts are getting multitple +1's

Aside from that, and in an attempt to not let this spiral further down than it already has, I think it is very, very clear that the vast majority of BB users are completely fine with the way that GM's have handled almost each incident and have full trust in the checks and balances they have in place. Once again, I believe the only reason you are taking issue is that you have some sort of agenda stemming from your negative attitude towards the community as a whole.

To see a real life example of what they have instead you would have to see post 277748.51 in this thread, which gave a real life example step-by-step. The actual process was so bad that they had to delete the report AND the two posts following it by the guys who got to read the report before they deleted it.
Why was it deleted ? Because it broke a rule. That's why.
No, in fact I strictly discussed the process, as this whole thread does, and avoided comment on any decision. One of the following posts by a responsible poster emphasized the same point.

And if your point is "the system is bad since my message who was deleted stayed long enough to be seen by at least two people". We do what we can to be reactive, but we do things outside of BB.
No, obviously that isn't my point; good try.

Without getting too specific, you began discussing the process in the third paragraph, but not after specifically commenting on both the decision made, citing the actual text from the decision notification, and that you felt it was incorrect.

You're further discussing the deletion of the post, which in itself is a staff decision.

If you wish to discuss the appeals process in the forums, without spending (and wasting) the time explaining why you felt like the need to appeal was unjust, please by all means do so. If you wish to persist in discussing the decisions made by the members of the staff and why you feel like they're unjust, I would encourage you to not do so through the forums.

I understand, hrudey, I fully understand. "Staff decision" includes anything staff says or does, and staff has their finger on the (figurative) red button and can use it any time they darn well please. That's the process in a nutshell.

Been there, done that ... over and out.

Yeah, that stuff that was just there, it's not now. Let's at least try to somewhat keep this on some sort of productive topic.

What breaking a rule really means, is sometimes more than vague...

Größter Knecht aller Zeiten aka His Excellency aka President for Life aka Field Marshal Al Hadji aka Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas aka aka Conqueror of the Buzzerbeater Empire in Europe in General and Austria in Particular
