Congrats on the win, it puts you in the driver's seat for the #2 seed. I liked my chances, but my offense disappeared in the 4th quarter.

Thanks Jasen. I got really lucky in the 4th. I have no idea what happened and I figured it was over when I was down by 20+. The big question now is do I CT DM to try and keep 2nd place or do I TIE and save it up for our rematch?

Assuming you are near max enthusiasm (so 9 or 10) a CT costs you 4 or 5 enthusiasm for the playoffs game. For me, HCA is not worth that many enthusiasm points. A Normal would only cost 1 to 2 pts of enthusiasm and that might be worth it, but hard to know for certain.

The old-timers of Dark Matter…playing the role of spoiler! A DM win or a loss doesn’t really matter at this point in the season. So what is Coach Mongo thinking? TIE? Normal? CT? Play his starters or give the young guys some playing time to test their mettle? Does Coach Mongo even know…? He hadn’t even thought about it until he read the last few posts! LOL!

BTW…been a really fun and challenging season! The league really kept me on my toes. With new teams dropping down and new teams promoting, (and Dr Chris’ play by play posts), it was, for me, one of the most interesting and competitive seasons I’ve experienced. I hate to see MMR promote (not really!), it’s been a nice chess match putting together a team and strategies to beat them (not sure I ever did…), the past few seasons. And now we have several teams that are really, really good. Giving me a buzzerbeater brain ache…

Is this where I am suppose to offer to buy you 3 months of supporter if you CT?

Not sure that would be a good investment of my money as it doesn't feel like 2nd or 3rd will really matter, I still will lose to MMR either way.

(I probably should clarify as I can be bad at internet humor, that's all a joke and I will NOT buy you supporter, regardless of if you win or lose on Saturday.)

I'm not even sure I could beat DM with a CT on the road. That team is pretty stout now.
