I am very new to the game and basketball in general.

This looks like a good/very good draftee to me. Any advice, would be appreciated. Training guards at the moment, but wondering whether this could be a future star if trained well.

Problem about switching to Center training is that there seems to be many players training Centers, so Centers are not so expensive to buy.

So if U have nice trainees now, I would sell him and concentrate on outside skills.

Or maybe train him as a SF i his outside skills, but not quite sure if his outside skills are high enough to be worth it. It will probably take almost 2 seasons to improve OD and JS to Respectable. However good SFs are not so common in the game, and training these is good IMO, as they will contribute well to your team during the time you train them.
