I don't really understand all of the LeBron hate?

Sure, 'The Decision' was poor, but aren't we over that by now?

He is a "full of himself" yank.

Aussies tend to support the underdogs

i actually personally dont like the fact that him coming to the team has degraded the play of Dwayne Wade

before lebron came to Miami i reckon wade was the most watchable NBA player.

And unfortunately, because of the amount of times Lebron has chocked, watching finals with him in, is kinda like watching Greg Norman playing in the final round of the US open final. so many times he chokes, and lebron did the same this finals series - Spurs just didnt take advantage of it.

i mean yer he is an awesome player, but watching with that 'choke' in the back of your mind, it kinda just makes it unenjoyable.

D-Wade is amazing, but he's a broken soldier right now, he needs surgery or SOMETHING to sort his knees out, maybe take a year off then see how he goes coz he's just not the same dynamic D-Wade right now.

Are you kidding yuorself?
he choked in the finals?
he choked in game 6 with his triple double?
he choked in game 7 when he won the damn game smashing all those jumpers for 35 points?

Spurs choked baby.

as for the LeBron hate, sure you can hate him as a person but there is no denying that he's the best basketballer currently playing the game.
He's 28, 2x NBA Champ, 2 x NBA Finals MVP, 4 x NBA MVP.
He's ahead of where MJ was at 28yrs old.
You just can't deny the stats I'm afraid.

I agree it was certainly the Spurs that choked this time, game six was theirs and somehow they found a way to lose. I love watching any great players and LeBron is certainly great. I am well over the decision and he has majorly matured over the last three seasons. Last season during the playoffs he even cut off facebook, twitter, internet and even TV and just concentrated on his game and read the entire Hunger Games series. It showed in the relaxed and confident way he approached the series. I was hoping for Memphis or Indiana in the Finals but I'm probably the only person on the planet who thought that would be fun.

Explain how he is full of himself? (Other than 'The Decision', which he was paid the price for.)

Agree with all of this. I was hoping for an Indiana win against Miami.

I don't like Miami due to the coming together of the 'Big Three'. If it happened at another team I wouldn't like it either. I liked it much better when the great players played on their own team and you turned on to watch LeBron's Cavs play Wade's Heat, Kobe's Lakers, Dwight's Magic, etc, etc. Sure, all these teams had talent around the stars, but they didn't have another top star with them.

Having said that, I don't hate LeBron just because I don't like Miami. I think people like hating him because it's cool to do so, not for any legitimate reasons. Like you said, I'm over 'The Decision' and LeBron has done nothing but improve his image and standing in the game since then.

Agreed. I really thought the "Decision" was a douche move but over the last two seasons he has proven himself on and off the court. He is already an all time great and should he continue on as planned with the one.. two.. three.. four... five fingers, then he is well on his way to being the best ever.

Its easy to find out why there are so many Lebron haters out there. The coming of the big three together was bad enough but the way he and Miami flaunted it was just unsavory. I remember Boston did the big three Ray Allen, KG and Pierce and there weren't many haters there, just conspiracy theorists about Commissioner Stern loving the Celtics vs Lakers format.

But yeah the "Decision" is long gone and now its time to enjoy it for what it is. Enjoy watching a once in a generation player like Lebron dominate the league like Jordan once did.

Back then Jordan would never have thought about teaming up with Magic or Bird. But these days it is a norm it seems. Dallas just cleared Shawn Marion's salary who would be better equipped to pursue Dwight Howard and/or Chris Paul if this trade happens.
