This could be a brutal week -- or, more accurately, planning for a league game and possibly two Cup games is challenging:

NBBA
The Hawks at EDH Wolves

DII
Bruins at Forza Juventas

DIII
Euclid Panthers at Redbull
Chanute Sharpshooters at Window Lickers
Romantics at Senecaville

DIV
Eugene at Stormz

On the face of it, Eugene has the easiest game, but if you consider national rankings, then it becomes more complicated:

EDH 6 (the Hawks are 14)
Chanute 40
Stormz 104
Forza 133
Euclid 177
Romantics 400

Bummer! But you would come back with a huge stash of money and since you already have a big arena, you could buy a pretty good team.

I was thinking the same thing but I really struggled getting to DII and the thought of dropping to DIII again turns my stomach.

sounds like an easy solution old friend...find a new place to work. Maybe try and work your way down to IV.38. I'll do the same. Then buy back Quinn and I'll re-purchase Brooks and we can go at it again...old timer vs old timer. I'm sure everyone is dying to see that resurrected match-up...GL and hope you hang around. The sinking and training route really isn't that bad. Probably enjoyed it just as much if not more than the 5 or so seasons spent competing in D-II.
Ha! I have thought about quitting my job many times but I don’t think my wife would agree that losing BB is the last straw.

Thanks for the well-wishes my friend. I haven’t decided what to do yet. I worked so hard to get to DII, I really do not want to drop down, especially since the competition looks tougher now, but I may not have much choice. Maybe I will try to get used to BB using this damn phone.

Those games in IV.38 were a blast and Bingham vs Chacon were some great battles, even though Brooks always got the best of me. I remember thinking Bingham’s prodigious OD was dominant, and man have things changed. I can’t win now with 2 guys having colossal OD and 1 phenomenal OD.

I'm way to excited for the draft. I seem to be checking if the prospects are available at least twice a day. It's been probably 6 seasons since I spent a dime. I'm in for a let down, aren't I?

I'm sort of expecting them to be out tomorrow... but I don't know why I think that. Anyway I'm planning on dropping tons of money and being disappointed too. Long live BB!

another odd collection of all-stars.

Guys the voters got right:
the Bruins' guards
Nielsen
Quintanilla

Guys they missed:
Goss

Guys that make me say "WTF"?
Demarczyk

Don't know the Big 8 as well, but i know Jeffries, Arnett, Tanner, and Trahair are all deserving of starting.

i do my best to suppress any talent i have (only one of my players is in the top 10 in any of the three major categories), so i am always surprised if any player on my squad makes the all-stars.

Demarczyk is as shocked as you are. He had planned a nice trip to visit the family back in Poland during all-star week, but now it looks like he'll have to cancel that. He's a really salary-efficient player, and after another few seasons of training I think he will be all-star material, but I'm as surprised as everybody else to see him on the roster this year.

Tanner's 9th All Star game (7-1 record, last two averaging 3.5 bpg, 2 spg...even in the ASG he plays defense).
Jeffries' 9th also (last three averaging 26 ppg with 75% FG, 73% 3 pt FG).

Fear the Big 8's Big 2.

Hey Window Lickers I don't know if this helps at all coming from the worst coached team in the league. But for the last couple of seasons I've been running my team off of my iPhone. It takes some time to get use to but eventually you get use to it.
