First of all, thank you all for your contributions to the discussion. The critique and praise both have been a good read, but now after the first training has run (and in the future after more trainings do too) you'll have a better feel for the real effect of the new staff. I'll wait for that to happen, keep an eye on the discussion here and, as I said, up the feature "denomination" from minor to major.

Some more specific answers follow:

@khenry: The boost is only applied to players playing at the correct training positions and if they are 18 or 19 yo.

@LA-King Leonidas: You're right, the hire button should be visible until you have all 6 covered. Made the change now.

@Bass: I can see both the main trainer and the youth trainer. Is there still a bug?

@mark lenders: Yeah they stack but their combined effect is reduced.

@barba & kingK: this is just a display bug, you're not supposed to be able to hire internally the secondary staff. If you clicked the button you'd notice that only the essential staff members can be hired internally.

@Ubiond: fixed the specialty issue now.

@ychonodou: youth trainer just boosts the training of 3 players trained as long as they are 18 or 19 years old and as for the sports psychologist - it is for the ones who did not manage the minutes well or a random factor would bring the GS down (so he stays at level 9 if maxed).

I don't think you understand how the massage specialty works. Here's a section about it from the manual:
"Massage: Players who play too many minutes in a given week will not experience as severe a drop in game shape."

You were probably talking about the Fitness specialist ("Fitness: The magnitude of the Stamina drops experienced by your players is decreased."), who can be combined with a nutritionist. The combined effect is not exactly simply added together, rather their combined effect is less than that. How much? You need to figure that out for yourself.

It all looks very interesting and adding options and new factors to the game is always a good thing. I am looking foward to using them, especially the Youth Trainer since I do extensive scouting and my first draft pick is usually suitable for either the srating 5 or the regular substitutes from the start of the season but I have to ignore the team's needs in order to train him to youth NT level or for a high value sale.

One improvement I can see neccessary from even now is the option to "Hire Internaly" just like the main staff.

Waste of time. I have enough trouble getting the money to hire good players to move up a division. I've put a lot of players on U21 and several on NT. By the time they get that good, I have to sell them because you can't move up divisions with just 1 or 2 good players. I have a 20,000 seat stadium that sells 97% and that still barely covers the costs of a team that will just be DIII next season.

@Huskies: Well, the new staff members affect the same things and can be combined with the specialties of the old staff. So, I wouldn't call them obsolete but complementary. And yeah about the nutritionists.

@aber: all of them.

Is the Sports Psychologist at superior rating, along with a trainer with an advanced rating, going to be good enough that I could reduce my roster down to, say, 8 players? That would give me the money to pay the salary without increasing my expenses. If the SP is that good, then this is a pretty good concept.
