Looking at d1-3 teams in countries 1-10 (only games played at equal effort), the mean point differential was +6.8 for home teams in season 8 (based on 24k games) and has been +7.2 so far in season 9 (5k games). So, no, it doesn't seem like there's been a big net effect of any HCA changes. Although I'll add that if you break the data down a little further, there does seem to be a bit of a reduction in some of the component HCA advantages, but they're not translating to overall point differential.

edit: oops, actually, HCA in d1 looks relatively unchanged from last year, though in both cases it's bigger than in lower divisions. There's not much difference between d2 and d3 though.

Did you also notice there are 2 teams distorting those stats? Thank you SA who is a bleeping 3-0 on the road and the Giants who has managed to win and lose games everywhere.

Take those two teams out and you have supreme HC dominance. The point diff may not of changed but the winners of some of those games have.

This also doesn't take into account the numerous Road Cup TIE losses sustained by high level teams. I would include myself, but am preparing for demotion.

All this would not be possible w/o enthusiasm.

Totally missed that Ice:

1- bought a new player!
2 - that player is the infamous Reed Mccallister!
3 - didnt even have to sell anyone to get him!

I'll happily let Reed beat me with a RNG then his 6-headed-inside-monster beat me inside

My team is suffering from some bad game shape. It's getting a little frustrating that I can't get these guys to sub right.
