To be honest, I don't see any issue with the likes of Underwood getting 3 votes in most of the games he's played. Taking the game against you as an example, if Underwood doesn't score 50+ points on pretty good percentages, then his team gets smashed (the difference in ratings in that game is pretty big). Instead, he takes you to overtime and almost pinches the game. That to me is the very definition of most valuable player.
The game against Baxter is probably a better example, going by the ratings Lordy should have been smashed by probably 30-40 points, but because of Underwood, he only loses by 12. I'd say he had more impact on that game that any other guy on the court.
Frankly, its hardly a surprise tactic that Lordy is using, given he's used it in every game he's played so far
. Teams shoudl be able to find a way to counter it, otherwise Underwood will (justifiably) keep racking up MVP votes, and maybe even pinch a game or two.
