Im planning to train his passing when he is 22. He's going to play for the U21 and training passing at this stage would take to much time and woudnt benefit him as much as OD and handling.

Just picked this guy up on the transfer list. 19 years old, 6'8" and perennial allstar potential. A little bit of outside defence and jump range this season to fit in with my SF trainee, then 2-3 seasons training his inside game. He wasn't cheap but I think he'll become a great PF with the right training.

Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: proficient
Driving: proficient Passing: average
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: average

Plus he's got awful experience already, which is a nice bonus for a 19 year old.

Nice PF prospect. He'll never be a good 3pt-shooter, but he can easily become a very good PF. Not great though, since he'll still be a bit limited due to his potential.

Yeah, potential is the one drawback with this guy. Just missed out on a similar player with MVP potential this morning, but you win some you lose some. With perennial allstar potential I think there's still scope to create a top division PF. The cross training update may work in my favour as well, if it reduces the number of mono-skilled C's/PF's. Plus, it could give him a boost in training speed due to his good secondaries. We'll have to wait and see what the update actually brings first though...
