NT fun time is over.
we're getting serious again. all the younger players will be dismissed from the team, and the regulars will be taking their spots again.
i want to look for the best possible team.
some players such as Gilmont, De Patoul, Reyngoudt, Van Gent, Dorchain and a 5 others, are nearly certain to be selected again in the NT for next season. howevery, their are alot of players that are on the bubble, and with some great U21 players comming up, chances are that we might be seeing some changes in the NT team next season.
i'm thinking about upgrading the defence on the guards position.
anyhow, i've started to make a list of players who might be in for representing our Nation during the consolation tourney. i'll most likely start by selecting only 10 to 12 players for the first 2 games, and adding the remaining 6 positions with players once the remainder of our opponents has been decided. that will leave me with the possibility to select some more bigs if we face alot of teams with very strong bigs, or some more SF or SG or whatever i might need.
so just know that even tho you'r player isn't in the NT in the first 2 weeks, he might get into it right after that. the thing that will influence my decision most is GAME SHAPE so keep your players in good shape! i prefer playing with Proficient, however, if it goes to strong, that's understandable. If your player gets to respectable GS, then i consider that as poor management of the minutes ( ofcourse, if an injury kills the GS, then that's a pitty, but i won't be selecting injured players either, since i can't use em for the games right away...)
so remember, GS is the key for the upcomming selection. their is a pool of about 26 players that could make the NT. 9 players are more or less certain to be back for atleast another season. that means that 17 other players will be competing for 9 remaining spots, and the biggest influence will be GS.
