Ok, so we all agree that the TIE system is crocked (except for kozlodeev, who turned into Paula Abdul on American Idol about 13 posts ago).

What is going to be done about it? The system now encourages mutual TIE'ing, which is dumb and adversely affects non-believers. It also skews the playoff results, which mean EVERYTHING when it comes to season ticket holders.

I dont think the TIE system is crocked, I like it the way it is now, It adds plenty of oppertunities and strategic play. Of course it might not be entirely realistic, but it's fun.

When you are not the best of the 2 teams in a playoff game now, you still have a fair chance of winning when your opponent is just too arrogant to play normal, so you crush him with your CT vs his TIE.

I did that from memory, and looking back I'm pretty impressed that I was only one extra 'e' off.

When people start arguing about mutual TIE agreement issues, it always makes me think of this: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_theory). It's open to debate whether TIE itself is fair or unfair, but any agreements like this are at your own risk.

The mutual TIEs are a nice idea but I don't expect BB to enforce it for us. Only thing I can tell you is I'd hire a mid season replacement, and anyone who backs out of a mutual tie shall be CT'd every time I face them in the next four seasons.
Let's praise those who rrespected and did well in mutual TIE games. One strategy we should all use is find active players, send them a message 12 to 24 hours before the TIE game and ask them to reply agreement again at least one hour before the game starts.
