ahh yeh gotta hate that.

i am making a bit but just can't get the fans to come to my games. a few easy wins first up will hopefully bring the crowd. possibly i shouldnt have tanked that rivalry game to skyhook last season which may be why my attendance is down near 66%. thing is this season i dont think i will have the firepower to beat skyhook who i think has been my rival 3 seasons running.

the BBgods have given me a raw straw as 2 of my TV games are also my rivalry matchups with skyhook. lose both them and my arena will look like a north melbourne home game. the last is against Be High which i may be able to steal the win against.


i have looked at the schedule and believe i can finish with a 13-9 record which would be better than my last seasons 12-10. now i just have to get it done. i think it will take more than 12 wins to secure playoffs this season in the Big 8

what does everyone else think they can finish on?

no idea where i will finish.. for most of the season i will be playing guys out of position for training, and that will undoubtedly cost me wins.. as long as wee keep improving and i can get Chan's skills to where i want them to be, i will be a happy camper...

cmon mate give us a record. surely you can look through your schedule and pencil in games which you think you will win.

for example i have looked at your schedule and predict you to be about 14-8 or 15-7

20-2, Looking for 1st place again!!!

Will be interesting but i also now will be training, and i am going to have to make a sell very soon to get back into the + in my economy. Question is do I make it back in staff or in Players???

thats interesting i wouldve had you down for 21-1.

if you make it in staff ie. doctor, you may pick up an injury to your trainee which will damage his U21 training. you could always get rid of your PR manager...

Interesting Neebs, not making any mula.. I predict I will get 18-4, maybe 19-3. I plan on putting in strong line ups through the cup where feasible so I may have to sacrifice a league game or 2. I don't see much of a challenge on the red side of the world with a poor performance from Sammy, is Be high the best left? Probably so I would think majority of my losses will come from the blue conference.

Yeah part of me thinks i can go 22-0 but still I have some decisions to make. I have come up with my contingency plan if everything goes pair shaped with Arena attendance but that will require me to throw the cup away and sell half of my team, not something that i want to do but something that may be crucial.

Dont be fooled though, my line will be just as strong as last season the question is how will be cope and get the Beasts Back into the green (also note i was not making money for the first 3-4 weeks last season).

like i said mate..if i were to play my best team in their rightful positions every game, then i would expect our W-L ratio would be different to what it is going to be with training..

I would rather lose a game and see CHan and co pop, than win a game and them not pop..

Bad luck Skyhook but the good news is the man who beat you on the buzzer the human foul machine is now gone. It wasn't just you that had a trainee though, look at my PG for that game - rating of 5.0 - he sucked but he will get better.

Well we have sold all those duds who let us down in the finals and fouled there way to defeat. Now we have more than a million to spend, but what on?

I have placed my bids and I hope by tomorrow I have a very different looking team for the Redhead match.

Looks like we have all given in and are all predicting a Beasts v ACT final again, how did that work out last season?

haha +1 for that.

i am hoping to make a few purchases in the next week. not in the same scale as my old players but i just can't look forward to a season where i can't try compete. tanking just never sat right with me. dont think the team i want will be able to rival the likes of beasts ad hippos but maybe around ranga and skyhook level
