i wouldn't mind you throwing in the towel like that. problem is, Mizu and Stonestars are out, and i'm still in the cup, while i'm trying to secure my PO spot... things are going to get alot more serious now that Stonestars and Mizu are out of the cup...

and Joe got a V in the next round, lucky him :P

poor nico. Out of the cup + no enthousiasme + lot 3 games...
Joe you are a meany :P

no seriously, i have to applaud Nico for attempting to win a game that many would have throw away. i'm pretty surprized about Vottems attacking choice, i was expecting something entirely different.

The cup is remains in Joe's or Sums grasp, since they are clearly the 2 better teams...
I got a III team in the draw, altho it's one that could knock my back up team out. My ambition remains the league ( unless if Joe and Sum get KOed from the tournament, at which point i'll reconsider if it's worth going after the tournament or not). No super draws for the next round tho. But soon, it is going to be one BBBL team facing another.

My cup ambitions are to reach the 7th round, meaning that i'll have a full week of trainng during the allstar game ( i'll need it to make up for the GS training that i was forced to do during my season...)

against Armstrongs? not gonna happen. i played them often enough. Sum could have easely played 3-2 without a problem.

slightly surprized by the Box and One in defence, cause he generally played RaG and MTM (if memory doesn't abandon me on that)

Armstrongs put up a good fight for what he was worth...

Whats more annoying, is that my NT set up is destroyed. 3 injured players (Ivan, Ballaert and Marchoul all hit the ground hard) in one game day... Moreover, it are all bigs, so i'll have to call upon atleast one new big guy to come and join the team... And all those injuries, just before i play the most important game from the first 8 games... what a bummer...

i'm calling this saterday black saterday from now on...

i should call you all sorts of names... :P but i won't.

you aren't the only one to blame... Altho, it's going to hurt the Nt like hell, cause we are losing some very important players...

And it should be said, it has been the first sweep in over 2 seasons! I'm pretty happy with the outcome of things. nothing changes in our division standings, and let's face it. If we get swept each saterday, then we'll have better draft spots. so all in all, i'm pretty happy about tonights results. And considering that my B team lost by 32 points against Phoenix on Phoenix's court, i think i should be pretty happy about that aswell.

§o all things considered, i think what happened tonight was the best case scenario for my team :D

I have played CT (yes, nico and me have played CT both Yesterday) in the middle of the season for the first time ever.

first step into selfdestruction.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

but that is the whole problem. Armstrongs always seem to gamble with their defence :P they did it when i played with them in II.3, and by the looks of it, they keep doing it. Everyone knows that Sums biggest threat is his inside power, so why on earth go outside box and one...

It was just a pure gamble from him once again... He gambles with the tactical set up, he doesn't think it thru like most of the other managers would attempt to do so...

(btw, to be clear, no offence is ment to any manager. i'm just stating simple facts here)

so you can say all the if's you want Joe, but since Armstrongs often gamble with their set ups, they rarely get it right, thus i never expected Sums to be in any kind of trouble for the game.
