Not a bad idea.

However, I'm betting they climb to 4th or 5th by the end of the season. They're only 2 games out of 4th right now, and have the PD tie breaker. Plus they get EOS this week, with Bushrods having to go to Demon Hoosiers. Also, they get Bushrods and the Wyldcats at home after intereague play.

Big games tonight. I might be willing to trade some TIEs next season for people CTing the teams in the playoff hunt behind me.

Traptors fans have shown some concerns in the wake of Eclypse's new additions. They fear those might prevent the highly anticipated outing of Connie McIntyre, that many adoring fans waited since they first saw the fixture list for this season.

Inter-league play is over! Here are the rankings going into the final third of the season.

POWER RANKGINS
1. Demon Hoosiers, 20.092 (UP 1)
2. Ron Swanson, 18.476 (DOWN 1)
3. Cathar Heretics, 15.888 (UP 1)
4. Toronto Traptors, 15.739 (DOWN 1)
5. Natellio, 14.060 (UP 1)
6. Chicken Hawks, 11.228 (DOWN 1)
7. The Door Mats, 8.477 (EVEN)
8. Lake Charles, 3.663 (UP 1)
9. East Gary Eagles, 2.389 (DOWN 1)
10. Extra Crispy, 1.090 (EVEN)
11. Bushrods, -4.119 (EVEN)
12. Kentucky Wyldcats, -8.304 (EVEN)
13. Eclypze, -10.594 (UP 2)
14. Lengends, -10.751 (DOWN 1)
15. Real Big Tymerz, -13.727 (DOWN 1)
16. End of Story, -63.630 (EVEN)

Games to watch on Saturday:

GREAT 8
1) Ron Swnason @ Cathar Heretics: Swanson likely has homecourt locked up on the Great 8 side, but you can bet everyone in the Big 8 will be pulling for Cathar to help with homecourt for the championship. Also, Cathar will be looking to put some distance between he and the Door Mats for the 2 seed.

2) Door Mats @ East Gary: Same as Cathar, The Door Mats are in hunt for the 2 seed and home court in round 1. East Gary in the meantime is still fighting for a playoff birth, but also to stay out of a relegation series.

BIG 8
1) Chicken Hawks @ Natellio: The Big 8 is a mess as 5 teams still have a chance at the #1 seed. This game will go a long way in determining the playoff seedings down the road. Chicken Hawks won the first battle easily, but that was at home, and without Beau James.

2) Extra Crispy @ Eclypze: This is just interesting. Eclypze recently made a large bank account larger after the Oscar Poe sale, and he now has made a few upgrades for the short term. He's made no secret that he's not trying to compete this season, but he certainly has the capability to play the role of spoiler.

Games to watch tonight:

GREAT 8
Cathar Heretics @ The Door Mats: Cathar has lost 2 straight now, and thus have lost the 2 seed. A win against The Door Mats will get right back, though, as they hold a decent PD advantage. The Door Mats, in the meantime continue to play very well with a very low salary. They're not a team that's easy to gameplan for, and a win here may ensure homecourt in round 1.

BIG 8
Demon Hoosiers @ Extra Crispy: Dangerous game for Demon Hoosier. Extra Crispy had been on a roll until the new look Eclypze team took them down on Saturday. But still, they have won 6 of 7. Demon Hoosier in the meantime is riding a 4 game winning streak, and looks really strong since his high salary purchase last month. A win for Demon Hoosier is maybe more important than Extra Crispy, as a loss COULD create a 3 way tie for the 1 seed. A loss for Extra Crispy though, will take him back out of the playoff race. At least for the time being.

Several interesting results today. I actually watched the last quarter of your game. That's gotta hurt. Extra Crispy is dangerous. I needed the win, and the fans were clamoring for the TV win. He TIEd against me. The rest of his opponents should watch out.

Yes that does hurt. Did not plan on losing that one, but got caught underestimating him. Didn't start Beau James for game shape purposes, and really struggled to score. Plus his home normal, which I also didn't think he'd do. Will be really tough to grab the 2 seed for me now.

Didn't expect a TIE from Crispy in your game... He may not be too worried about the playoffs after all.

Playoff picture in the Great 8, in the meantime, looks to be about set.

Power rankings coming later today!

My game with Crispy really does show how easy it would be for any of the teams on our side to lose on the road. I probably still would have won that one with a TIE, but definitely not if I TIEd and he normalled.
