Maybe that is the case but considering he never made a 3 and along eight the fact that his team only had 18 assists on 36 made baskets, I still believe it is because the guards couldn't find the big guys inside (18 assists is not that many... It isn't awful but it seems lower than it should be), it appears that a lot of the shots taken were not from good ball movement despite not all of them being from beyond the arc. along with this there is still the fact that his bigs had no depth so the backups hurt him. To me it is understandable why he lost.

HCA and lack of depth, that might be the biggest reasons. But I sitll can't understand how come his centers didn't prevail in offensive rebounds. 1-3-1 is the worst in that department right after FCP.

guys, i know that there wasn´t any lack of Motivation for my Team - we had at least the same Motivation. the guy against whom i lost, can´t understand the score either, but i have to move on.

still think, that the game engine Change is a huge failure, very weird scores since then, and so many fouls.

Hi All,

I'm really confused as to why I lost this game.

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/59461526/boxscore.aspx

If you compare our teams, I believe mine has far better players. I know you can't see individual ratings, but my players DMI's are much higher as are their salaries. To make matters worse, I put more into the game on 'Normal', so they played 'Take It Easy'.

I'd greatly appreciate any analysis and advice. As you can see, I'm not having a gripe, I just really want to know what went wrong so I can improve upon it.

Also, any idea why my coach kept my star players out at crucial times when I have 'strictly follow depth chart on'? Is there a better way to make sure my starters play, say 85-90% of the game, and are in at the end of quarters or when the other team gets on a roll?

Thanks.

The main thing that steps out to me was the fact that he had 15 more rebounds than you and 17 offensive rebounds (that's a lot). As for individual players being better, that doesnt really mean that your team is better overall because of the bench and stamina and game shape and all other sorts of things that contribute to who plays better. By doing strictly follow depth chart it is the coaches job to substitute your starters when your backups will probably be more productive. This could also be a case of poor stamina, but I can't see the stamina for your players but i do not know for sure. Bottom line is that he rebounding you into the ground so although your team is probably a little better overall, with home court advantage he took the edge. I also think he has a bit more depth than your team.

Yubi Yubi
Your offensive tactic matched up well against his zone, giving you a big advantage offensively. But that's where the advantages end.

First of all, they had HCA, and their rebounding was excellent for the level of competition. It's a surprise that you weren't out-rebounded by even more. Secondly, your outside defence wasn't up to scratch and that's going to hurt you against a Patient offence, that preys on weak match-ups on the outside.

There was some bad luck involved as well; a referee who hated your team, and the opposition somehow managing to win OT despite the fact that they should've logically been dirt tired.

Ultimately, I think if you simulate this very game 10 times, you win 5 and he wins 5.

The Total salary of the players that got minutes for your team: 40,883
The Total salary of the players that got minutes for Dunnville: 177,407

His players' salary was 4 and one third times higher than yours. And Yuriy Pshnekikoghikinf? The guy who scored 44 points? His salary is B3 level, and more than double the salary of the players you played.
Even though his players got tired, they could still outplay your guys.

Also, remember that when a team has under five players, they play Lucky Fans in the remaining positions. They're basically just terrible players, but still add some apparent value.

I would like to know was my team really worse, or if I had a really bad game, because I bought 2 new players since I last played him in the 1st round of the playoffs and blew him out of the water, then it happened to me, so I would just like some feedback. And if you look at our rosters mine, has a lot more better players. Thank you for your time.

With the tactics, you both played, I'd say you guys are close to even. More so, them you might think. He had home court advantage, good for about 10 points, and you TIEs to his normal, probably good for another 10 points. Looks right to me.

I played my home game with look inside strategy against 3-2 zone. My opponent played look inside with normal enthusiasm.

And I lost the game by 3 points. :(
