Interesting. I knew IV.36 was weak, but not that weak. Haha.

Here ya go:

DANR1 = Average Nat’l Rank for Conference #1’s in Division
LANR1 = Average Nat’l Rank for Conference #1’s in League
DAW1 = Average Wins for Conference #1’s in Division
LAW1 = Average Wins for Conference #1’s in League
DAPD1 = Average Point Differential for Conference #1’s in Division
LAPD1 = Average Point Differential for Conference #1’s in League

LWANR = League Weighted Average NR(8*LANR1+4*LANR2+2*LANR3+1*LANR4+2*LANR6+1*LANR7)/18
LWAW = League Weighted Average Wins(8*LAW1+4*LAW2+2*LAW3+1*LAW4+2*LAW6+1*LAW7)/18
LWAPD = League Weighted Average Point Differential(8*LAPD1+4*LAPD2+2*LAPD3+1*LAPD4+2*LAPD6+1*LAPD7)/18

DWANR = Division Weighted Average NR(8*DANR1+4*DANR2+2*DANR3+1*DANR4+2*DANR6+1*DANR7)/18
DWAW = Division Weighted Average Wins(8*DAW1+4*DAW2+2*DAW3+1*DAW4+2*DAW6+1*DAW7)/18
DWAPD = Division Weighted Average Point Differential(8*DAPD1+4*DAPD2+2*DAPD3+1*DAPD4+2*DAPD6+1*DAPD7)/18

The weighting of the averages reflects these assumptions about chances of getting to the Finals: #1 seed 8/15, #2 seed 4/15, #3 seed 2/15, #4 seed 1/15. And it judges that winning relegation is about as important (in terms of how tough a league is) as making it to the Semis.

LWANR/DWANR = NR Rating
LWAW/DWAW = Win Rating
LWAPD/DWAPD = PD Rating

Each of these ratings is close to 1 and reflects a league’s toughness in one area as compared to the division’s toughness in that area.

50*(1-NR Rating) + 25*Win Rating + 25*PD Rating = Rhyminsimon’s Toughness Rating

And the weighting of the ratings assumes that the number and strength of wins in the meaningful slots (PO and REL) are each half as important as national rank in determining the toughness of a league. Using coefficients that make average = 100 provided an intuitive way of understanding the rating. It's reads like IQ.

Haha so I'm the 63rd best IV. league team? That's so sad I thought I'd at least be in top 40..

IV.41 is still representing, and whoever gets out of there will probably continue the trend of doing just fine in III.

I want to be in IV.32, but it's hard, man it's active (yay!) but hard (no!) for that I'll just go to a un-sociable league then hopefully go to a active D3 league it'll be worth it (yay! I get to experience D3! and I tank) then I fall down to IV that's active but I know it's hard so I keep my roster and win it lol
