Over the game engine where the match name is stated, include the team logos next to the names?

I think it would be nice if we could cancel scrims if both teams consent.

got a scrim with a buddy (he's new) for thursday but i lost saturday and I'd like to play my starters thursday... but he's new, so that's a bit unfair to him, I promised i was gonna play my worst players.

as i said, both teams would have to consent, so you'd send a request to cancel the scrim.

Suggestion to add a different section for back-ups when setting defensive match-ups for games.

For example, this way you can set your starting PG to play defense on their SF, but can keep your back-up point guard defending their PG. This wouldn't take away any strategy, in fact it could add some, and also allows for more realism.

Maybe it is hard to code into the game, and in that case, obviously don't bother, ha. But if it is easy to do, it would be nice to be able to play your starters out of position defensively without the back-ups having to do the same.

you missed his entire point

i believe he means let's say he has a PG starting who has 14 od and 10 id but his SF is one of those guard type builds, but has good outside and inside scoring, bad inside d, and 15 od ?

but at bench PG he has a guard who has let's say 5 od but he can score well off the bench at pg
and at SF he has a guy with good defense outside and average enough inside to pass and can pass but is terrible at scoring outside.

so he'd have PG defends SF
and SF defends PG
for his starters

but his bench players wont align with this.

so he's suggesting that you can assign separate roles, on defense, WITH THE SAME OFFENSIVE ROLES. Like you can do for the starters.

I'm guessing you never used the "I want my ____ to play defense as ______" option ?

this is what i'm talking about
and they can't possibly be on the floor at the same time because it's that player's back up.

------------------------------------------------------------

i understand your point now as well actually.

but I'm not gonna cut down on what I said. So basically, substitution patterns would have to be adjusted.

Perpete, you definitely bring up some complications I didn't take into account. There could be something like if there is a conflict, the default is they guard their position.

Barcaswag, you more or less nailed exactly what I was thinking of.

In general though, it is not such a big deal and if there isn't an easy fix, it isn't worth it. Just a minor thing.

Please give us the chance to fill our arenas, OR the chance of reducing it to 20000.

i know it is off-topic, but

ask for some financial compensation to the managers that keep repeating here that the key to success is to build the biggest possible arena. i wonder how many millions have been buried under those monstruous arenas and their thousands and thousands of empty seats (even when charging very cheaply for them). of course it is essential to enlarge your arena, but this must be done very strategically. as important as building seats in order to raise your revenues is to very carefully monitor the prices of the seats. if you have 1000 seats, you charge $10 for every seat, you could ask up to $20, you make 10000 and want to make 20000, you have two options: build 1000 extra seats for $200 each and keep asking $10 for every seat or raise the price of your tickets to $20. the difference between those two options is that you spend $200000 with the first and $0 with the second. with the first you will also need 20 home matches with full attendance to get your investment back, while when you decide to expand charging the maximum price you only need 10 home matches to recover what you spent and start making a real profit. asking for the full price makes things easier in order to know when to expand: if it is selling out consistently even with some losses, it's time. if you expand and it keeps selling out, you expand a bit more. if you expand and it doesn't sell out, you wait a bit and it will eventually sell out, unless you get demoted, but nobody should expand their arena if they have the possibility of being demoted. a 10k sold out arena with full ticket prices makes the same money as arenas double the size and they are many many times cheaper to build.

bb once allowed managers to destroy seats and get the money back, which caused a huge inflation and it was unfair to the managers who have more wisely invested in training, in players, much more useful things.

What do you think of getting 50% compensation for "destroying" seats instead ?

I think that could work
