information is power... only tell them what they need to know and be as vague as possible LOL

Well, speaking of bugs, I have just registered one. My No. 2 trainee, Rodriguez, was played as a starter tonight instead of the backup I had set him to play. And before I get the usual questions about what I chose, I DID NOT make a mistake. I am almost anal about checking lineups prior to every game. I'm annoyed this time as my No. 2, Rodriguez, who is playing for the Argentinian NT U21 is going to have his GS hammered for playing 86 minutes! So annoyed.

When you thrash a team by 20+ points the GE sits your starters and sends in the bench players. So this is why your trainee went in for to many min's

I know what you're saying but that's not what happened. I watched the replay and low-an-behold Rodriguez is 'starting' the game (as in ball up game on) at PG when he was set as back-up. The game may still have turned out to be a blowout but Rodriguez being put into a starting role ensured it. And no, I didn't pick "Coach picks from depth chart'. It's got to be a bug as I am very careful with my lineups and always check prior to game starting that all is as it should be.

There is a simple way to check what you set. Go to the "Set your lineup!" page for your next game, and up the top it shows a list of games in a drop down menu. Select the game from that list and it will load up the exact same configuration that you set for that game.

Yeah, did that and Rodriguez is shown as starter but I DID NOT SET THAT. I specifically brought a scrub yesterday for that position. I put him in as PG starter yet he didn't even play at all. I know sometimes it ispossible to accidentally click the mouse and a player can be accidentally chosen but this did not happen. Last night (the last time I checked the lineup) I checked and the scrub was set as starting PG. I just don't get it.

If the player you set as backup is vastly superior to teh player as starter, sometimes tehy will start anyway - it has happened to me before. Maybe fiddling with the let coach decide settings etc would fix it for you.
