Yeah, have always done 10k and haven't really scouted in a few seasons (I may have a couple ago but hadn't for seasons before that either).
I have now pumped it to 40k because my income/savings are so high.

Not only is your income high, you just made about 9 million in sales. Some people just have deep pockets.

I expect if I do spend I'll wait a few seasons for all the other hoarders to waste their cash. Even if it costs me a mill or two.
