Wow that sounds a bit like my life at 28. The kids will run you down and soccer will catch up to you. Go Gunners. I hope Wenger gets some defensive help.

Are we allowed to inquire about the ages of the candidates? I personally believe a teenager doesn't have the maturity to act and preform at the same level as someone older, its a matter of brain development and management skills.

(Yes Juice we know your as old as dinosaur fossils)

I'm 30, and my main job is as a Customer Account Specialist (high level tech support) for a well-known online database company.

I'm also a bouncer at a sports bar two nights a week.

not an arsenal fan actually, even though i think arsene is a very good manager (in spite of the abuse he takes)

the name comes from the style of sports i dont mind watching. i know iverson by the numbers won't go down as an all-time great, but from a sheer entertainment value he was/is my favorite.

Juice, you have lead us to the semi finals twice. Any idea on how to get over the hump?

To others: What would you have done differently that you think you have helped us win that game?

At that point there's no long-term strategy - we simply need to ensure we have the personnel to match the opponent, and then get the tactics right.

Of course, managing the enthusiasm well is key - clinch a semi spot early, and merrily TIE your way to the semis.

Just to interject and kinda shift the question.
The USA has no players in the top 10 most expensive and only one at the top 5 of his position (78289.1).

Given that salary does not exactly equal talent, it is a good barometer of talent and the best indicator of our "chances" of winning it all.

To all candidates, why don't we have players of this caliber and what can we do to change it?

For example Italy has 2 of the 5 most expensive players and 8 in the top 5 of the most expensive per position.

I think that you tend to see more single-position trainers in those countries than you see here.

There isn't a high percentage of teams that do single-position training - while beneficial to us, it can retard the development of their team.

It's easy to say "well, get more single-position trainers", and that'd be great, but there aren't enough people willing to really put a hurting on their overall performance for the NT.

Hopefully as our efforts to increase interest in the NT continue (opening the no-ID portion of the DB for all USA users, preparing a chat room for 24/7 use, etc.), more users will see it fit to single-position train, and ideally we find a way for teams to single-position train AND be successful in their leagues on a consistent basis.

Personally, I'm guessing most of the Europeans have more experience with Hattrick and have created more farm teams. I mean, can any team really be competitive with a $200k+ salary player on it?

I am 13, but before you count me out, I am always told I am very mature and I only get A's in a very tough academic school. I love basketball and play on a 7th CYO team, an 8th AAU team and my school team. I am always told I have high "Basketball IQ" by my coaches, which would help me with the tactics and everything else I will need to do.
Even though I am younger than the other candidates you should still vote for me!
