1) A player who would like the convenience of it will also would not bother in current system to stay to bid-war, but will just put MAX bid or would just continue to the next auction.
So, this point had been removed.

2) Maybe they use it more, but it does not mean they are interacting a lot on it. Again, see my first point.
It also don't mean that due to auction they stay in the game, there are much more to enjoy as a newbee.
In addition, users are leaving the game due to the unfairness of current auction system.

Summarizing your new claims and their answers.
C: New users prefer get into this game due to the interactive auction system.
A: It is available also in my suggested system.
It is not the main thing here who lore them in.
If they would prefer the conveniency they woud also do it in current system by placing a single bid or by not interacting.

C: Auto-biders will have less fun.
A: Who says so? One who will want to be part of a "regular" auction could be part of one.
When it is in an unconvenient time they could not attend it anyhow.
It is for them to decide.

If the player out of 1) bids the Max anyway if he cannot auto-bid, where is the problem you´re looking to fix?

I like how you take one person's point, break into 4, then pretend to summarize it back to a (completely different) one.

I clearly said I have one problem with your idea.

This one:

New users get tied to the game mainly because of the transfer market. If they have the chance auto-bid, they will always use it because it's less time-consuming (we all like short-cuts), but they won't realise the fun behind regular bidding, and they will ultimately get less tied to the game. Which is of course a bad outcome.

New users will try ALL.
If they would prefer the Auto-Bid system they would stick with it.
In case they don't, they won't.
The suggested auction system does NOT prevent it.

When the auction is at a time a user could not attend, they just has no way of being a "live" bidder under the current system, so no advantage here.
Under auto-bid they have much bigger role and it is much more fair one for them on this scenario.

New users does not get tied to the game due to the auction.
You understand that this site is about BB managing and it is not called eBay. Right?

And again, so many assumptions and opinions, and so little facts ... we accept that you stick to your opinion, but that doesn´t change the proposal a whole lot, can we agree on that?

"New users will do this, will do that...". Aha. Maybe you´d like to share the next weeks lottery numbers with us?

I guess I should just "take your word" about what a new user will do, because you are speaking about pure "facts".
Yes.... Very reliavle.

New users probably just googled eBay, and mistakenly got to BB and prefered at the end to stay with BB because they liked the auction system here better than the one at eBay.
BB managing? What does that have to do with the game and with their joining "the club"?

New users will try ALL.

Actually many of them try precious little for quite some time. And that is why we need to keep the game as simple as possible to keep them in the game long enough for them to understand it.

Honestly, the game existed long before your auto-bidding system, but you keep on telling is that people are leaving because of it and how "new users" would act. Instead, you not only ignore the shared experience of long-time users, you also try to make them look foolish and fail to even accept that their point of view is somehow valid, backing all this up with thesis backed up by data of the quality "it will be a better and less unfair system". There´s plenty people around who actually LIKE the current system, is it that hard to accept? And yes, some of those WOULD be pretty annoyed by out-bidding, as they are openly voicing concerns. So there is your data about the auto-bidding system beeing a "problem" to some degree. Mind taking that into your equation, instead of just going on and on about auto-bidding wonderland?

Just like you said - this is NOT ebay, so why implementing an ebay-tool here?

Managing in the real world has alot to do with timing and gonig for the right guy at the right time with the right price. Go and ask Mark Cuban about Steve Nash. He will tell you that beeing there at 0:01 on the crucial day might have mattered alot. And his "auto bidding system" failed badly. If this is about management, do your managing stuff. Where in the professional sports management world can you set an "auto-bid" function on a player? I want to sign Lionel Messi, so I´m bidding 100 Million Dollars, just in case you refuse I´ll raise by a million each time you turn down an offer or a different team offers more? It only works on ebay ... the real world works differently.

New users don't understand the clockworks of economics, tactics and training.
They get their new team and they want to improve it ASAP, so they run to the market (if they even consider training, they get the vague idea that it takes a lot of time), start looking for players they like, bid, bid, bid, refresh the page to see if someoneelse is bidding, bid again, etc... Basically the suspence of it all is what is addicting.
If you remove this fun of bidding, you lose the lure of the game.

Now, there is no fact that can prove that new users would always (or most of the time) use auto-bid, but I believe it's very likely.

OK, let's assume this is the reason, and not an excuse. [I think this is an excuse, but let's make a new statement]

A solution - new users cannot use auto-bids!
They need to be a full season in the game before they can use it.

You've got what you've wanted, and still the new auto-bid system can be used.
