It varies by position, quality of trainer and starting stats and the quality of other players available but as a rough guide I estimate it would be about...

C's - 23-24
PG's - 24-25
SG's - 25-26
PF's - 25-26
SF's - 26-27

You would probably keep training them up to 28 or 29 if you really wanted to max them out if they are HoF's and ATG's

I think morwood may be able to help on that, he was able to port the draft with a program somehow for Philippines, save the workload for doing it all manually which trust me, took a bucketload of work in people scouting, morwood checking every player individually and us collecting it all on the offsite.

I think about it and I start to develop a twitch in my eyes.. all those numbers!!! lol

Whoah there. Add at least two years to all of those top ages.
26 is the minimum you stop at for a Hof pot player.

edit: I see your edit now and agree with this far more, 28-29 is when you can take them out of skill training and focus on game shape instead.

Oh I agree ideally these ages need 2 more years to be starters for the NT but taking an honest look at our current crop of players and these are sadly realistic ages to make the team at the moment, I was flabbergasted when Mac made the teamsheet at 23. The quality of Anderson, Marshall, Gascoigne and Sharpling are a dying breed with no real successors sadly.

Makes sense every pop counts at that level, what kind of tsp do the top NT players have then?

I definitely think that if there was a way to find possible NT trainees at teams who arent training them and could link them up with a team who would it would be great. I mean you cant tell people to sell a player but a polite message telling them that they could be NT with the right manager etc Although you guys probably already do that.

Currently our starters are between 110 and 145 backups 95-120. For comparison historically England would field 120-150 all round. Finland are running 135 to 156 all round.

I did that for both Morwood and Zeus, based on this tool developed by RSX: (218184.1)

Clearly, nobody except the team managers can go and check the stats, by using the tool the only thing you have is salary and DMI.

Haven't been on here for some hours, not quite 24 and I come back to a bit of a storm. I don't really mind, as long as people don't fall out. At least its becoming clear there's at least a small number of people who are about the future of the NT.

Training has been one of the most fun bits of the games for me so i'm going stay in D3 for a few seasons and concentrate on that, hopefully get hold of another english PG trainee for next season and play the long game.. Adds another dimension to the game and hopefully end up with some u21 or NT players down the line.

Plus i'm really starting to get the hang of BB so if you NT guys need any help let me know.
