i would train him as a guard. First get OD up to proficent and then i would prob train JS up to a reasonable level (average maybe). After JS is up to a level you want then continue back with OD. Driving can wait till later, and maybe some JR pops would be nice. He looks like a decent trainee

Good job training his OD early. Train 2 weeks, then JR 1 week for the whole season. This might make his salary rise quickly though. Training JS will also give you a few JR pops.
