I'm a Celtics fan. We just signed Shaq and Jermaine O'Neal, so i don't think the Heat will dominate. The Celtics and Lakers are definetly able to beat them. Also, the Heat are Dwayne Wade's team, and LeBron won't be able to stand being a sidekick.

3 of the top 4 teams are in the East (miami, orlando and boston).
The balance of power between the conferences should be more even then its been in a long time.

Well, having James and Wade in the same team means that the others MUST create space. Bosh creates a lot of space with his mid-range movement. House and Miller also create a lot of space because the go back for the 3. Chalmers is also a good 3pointer. Also, Ilgauskas - James teamwork can lead to some amazing plays :) Haslem - Wade will do the same...
Spoelstra and Riley did a great job at selecting players!

Personally at this point I rate those 3: Boston, Orlando, Miami.
I think the Miami experiment will be all or none. i think the only way it will work is if Lebron is willing to take a step back, and let Wade be the guy. Lebron is the most versatile, and overall talented player on that team...he has the ability to fit in any capicity they need, and to clean up after the others. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective or change a game. Wade on the other hand will be lost in the shuffle if the ball is always in Lebrons hands. He won't be as adept at cleaning up after Lebron. So if Lebron lets this continue to be Wades team, this team could absolutely shatter records...if it becomes Lebrons team, I don't see them doing much better than he did in Cleveland.

That I would agree with. One exception could be Lakers,Dallas,San Antonio,or Denver could replace Boston, But as you said the balance of power is more equal now than it has been in years
