I just don't like this suggestion, and I write here my opinion and explain it. Is that wrong?

No. Don't play an innocent victim now. The wrong thing is you expect us to read and understand your arguments, while you completely disregard other opinions by not revisiting yours which were invalidated several times. You don't care what we have to say as the only valid arguments are yours. There's no point in arguing with such people.

I'd still prefer to see the fan survey problems fixed before getting a second team.

That is different points though.

And fan survey is acceptable as it is imho. What would need to be adapted is reaction to extremely bad teams.

Sorry Perpete, fan survey is NOT acceptable. A few seasons I was promoted and I got 4 balls for the "last season performance". If you win a streak of matches and then you lose one balls drop a lot. There is no weight for the opponent: facing the best team in the league in a home TV-broadcasted match is the worst thing that could happen. Fan survey should be less erratic.

I also add that a randomization of the season calendar is paramount, compared to a second team for the supporters. I lost twice my conference final, and the next season I faced the relegated team, away, in the second match of the season. Just one hour of coding and testing would be enough to assign a randomic number to each team in the conference and bind it to a position in the calendar.

You think the fans of your team would continue watching if you had over a million (which is usually more like over 5) in the bank, in top tier leagues and you were consistently losing by 50-120 points? Add to that your players play like children (not cute, so don't get ideas) and the competition is getting bored scoring on you? I doubt it... You'd be lucky to get a thousand, more likely a few hundred in attendance.

I would further venture that people from big nations would pick a micronation, where the added numbers would be most welcome.

As a manager in a small country (31), what do you think if people come in your country ? You are saying "welcome", but maybe you weren't thinking they would come in India, so your opinion is interesting here.

We don't even have enough teams now to maintain a quality Div. 1. I think all the Indian teams would welcome new teams. The current state is responsible for several managers leaving.

So its been suggested that there is a Utopia league, where all supporters want a 2nd team can have one.

You can't trade players out of Utopia, nor can you trade players into Utopia. There is no cup(?), there is B3, there would be no league forum because you will be playing with people from various countries who may or may not speak English (although as Perpete pointed out, maybe the existance of Santa could be debated).

So basically, I would have a second team - Would there be $100k salary players to begin with? or would everyone start with random low salary players, like a new team...? If there is only say, 300 supporters around the world whom join this league, how will the transfer market economy work? Player transfer value will be MASSIVE compared to real BB. If everyone starts out with basic roster and team, how are people going to own a $200k salary guard after 3-4 seasons?

Im throwing all these questions out there because im just trying to show everyone that, the idea of a second league has a lot of issues with it, especially starting from scratch, lots of questions, lots of things that people won't agree with and i dont think its going to solve any issues with the game... everyone in this thread will havea a different opinion on how the new league should be setup and when it isnt setup exactly how they think it should be setup, they will be disappointed with BB and possibly not use the 2nd team.
(basically, its a 'grass is always greener' argument im making here).
So for me, I personally don't see having a 2nd team as a reason why I would continue to pay supporter.

I'm confused by what is being proposed. The simplest is just to let people have a second team in an existing country. This needs almost no programmatic changes except for ensuring the no trade rule. Otherwise you lose the reason for having a second team.

You're forgetting all the cheating possibilities: farming, swapping training, blah blah blah...

But we're saying that there should be no interaction between the teams. That will remove all easy cheating possibilities. Other more complicated scenarios may be allowed but those exist even now.
