I don't like it when people in forums try to argue their way of playing is the most optimal. I can be nasty (which is unnecessary) about it sometimes. I apologize to those I've been nasty to and you are one of them.
I just have an adverse reaction when I think someone is trying to feed me BS. So if we can agree that outside might work and inside might be stoppable but no one has definitely proven it yet, I think we are cool beans. Eh even if we can't agree I'm cool with you.
I don't remember you really being nasty, certainly not to the point of needing to apologize. I'll just bank that apology in case we do reach that point. ;)
I think we're kind of all in agreement in general - until someone proves otherwise, the metagame at the highest level is inside dominated and I don't know that I expect that to change without BB intervention. If someone is here to try to win B3, it'd be crazy to try to do anything different, and instead just try to perfect what pretty much has already been done. My personal way of playing is that I want to see how far I can go with alternate strategies, mostly because I know I don't have the makeup of trying to follow someone else's blueprint. I think the biggest problem is that, for most people, they're looking at LI as some sort of eventuality that they have to give in to or they can't make any progress at all, and you know as well as I do that no matter how good a recipe and shopping list you give some cooks, they still won't get the job done, and I think I dislike the notion that it's LI keeping them down as much as I dislike the notion of telling everyone if they don't play LI, they're not really competing for anything worthwhile.
