Given the circumstances (without Sas and without Rosenberg most of the game + the 6th foul of Raubo in the beginning of the 4th quarter) it was much closer than I expected. It was 70-72 at one time but playing without any interior kill me at the end.

The difference between our game and the one of Joe is the position of the patient player. I played my best outside player against your center. Tumasstars played it with a PG with a bad GS at the PG position.

I think their Shot Blocking or Insinde Defense isn't trained really well yet and that made the difference I guess.

Don't say stupidities please. My inside defense was higher than the one of The Gravediggers, the matchup ratings inside (115.6 vs 87.7 and 99.9 vs 65.6) were in my favour and by a lot.

They made both 6 Fouls? That means a lot of Shot Blocking or Inside Defense, at least in real life. I see this game a lot like real life but it is not always the right perspective. So sorry if I said something 'stupid'...

In real life your defense could be better as well but if you make a lot of fouls, it's normal they score less. My analysis was a difference in free throws actually. Gravediggers tried more due the fast tactic and your young unexperienced 'Big mans' has a too low Shot Blocking ratio I assumed, that could explained the amount of fouls. But I don't know seems like a logic explanation, because the national team looks to SB as an non important secundary skill...

But with your experienced you will be very sure about this I guess? But you can't know the whole game engine or am I wrong again?

So what did you do, you put your best player against their opposite player or against their worst player?
I've actually never really used the switching of defense in positions, never saw the point in it when you have a balanced team against a balanced team.

I put my best offensive player Antovic to attack against his center to create a mismatch. As my player has better outside skills than the center he mostly plays outside (12 3pt shoot) where he can be more efficient than inside. If I played patient with Antovic as a SG he would have been defended by a player with better OD. It is a good tactic when you have nothing to lose but it is not a tactic to play it all the time.

Regarding the switcing positions in defense, it can be used if one of your outside player has lower OD than the two others. There you put the "weakest one" on the lowest scoring opponent.
For example if your PG has 15 in OD, SG 17 and SF 12 and the opponent scoring are PG 20ppg, SG 9ppg and SF 18ppg. You put your PG on the SF, your SG on the PG and your SF on the SG. In that case you have to pay attention that your PG has sufficient ID to avoid being dominated inside by the SF.

It looks like arcasm. Of course I don't know the GE, NOBODY understands it. But when all the datas you have (team ratings and matchup ratings) go ALL in the same way, the only conclusion is : Steal!

First of all, my bad not meant sarcastic, it was more like amazed by your knowledge/looking up to you.

4 of them were made in the last 40 sec to stop the clock because I was trailed. Both of them were still on the field after 47 minutes. You're searching the little beast about them... Jealous? :D

Really jealous hahaha, but okay, didn't analysed good enough!

Steal!

In thise case enough arguments to say bad luck Joe.

First of all, our NT is maybe one of the very best country in the world in SB. This season we had the 4th best defense during the first round. I like SB a lot and that will be the case for Guillaume and de Groote. Currently they are good enough for D.II, even to survive in BBBL. I train them smoothly to not explose their salary and reach their potential capacity too early. The goal is to reach it around 28-29 year old.

Alright, I've focused a couple of years on scouting in Belgium U21 so there is SB not a big priority, didn't know we do a bigger focus when they are past 21. My bad again.

And by the way I'm in the Utopia finals, I mean in D.I. I will lose of course against a much stronger but in a "country" with 1055 active users it's not so bad.

Not bad and what is the difference where you're team is from in Utopia? Don't have the money for Utopia so why is it like that? And btw congrats.

But it's not a bigger deal that you are living in Belgium instead of Spain right?
It is impressive because it's like the worldchampionship on this game for paying players!
This is really impressive, in your comeback season. I think you are one of the best players on this game. I shall never match this knowledge about the game I'm afraid, but one cup final or one title would mean the world for me.
I hope I can stay in D.II. You learned me a lot, maybe I was not an easy student for you, but thanks for your patience!

Good luck in the finals tomorrow!

@Joe, I must admit I was surprised too with my win. I don't know about "a steal", as I won most of our games in the last years and I did have some odds in my favour. But it's clear you caught up to me and next season I'll most likely be where you are now.

Sorry to break the excitment for you all, but I don't have anything to do in BBBL as I both miss cash and trainees nearing completion (but they are growing great!). I'm a lifelong D.II guy, where I spend almost all of my career :).
