I'm toying with the idea of switching to single position training next season and dumping two of my current trainees. Then, once Wendon hits the soft cap, I'll be looking for someone new to train and will probably have enough cash to spend.

With a level 6 trainer, I hope that this will give Ngakame the push he needs to make the U21. I also hope this will make Wendon one of the world's best SFs.

As for picking up prospects, I probably won't be able to help in the near future but I hope to start training a Canadian monster in 2 seasons time.

Hello All,

Please discard this if you feel these are not good suggestions...

Would it be great if we can design a national team structure to help out the two NT managers (National and U21)? Or is there one already existed.

1.) Scouting: I know teams like Italian's U21 team have scout(s) to communicate with managers (they contacted me once in a while to checkup my propsect)..If there are 10-15 scout, we can have most of the scouts helping dividing up the scouting duties with the manager. We can also use a few scouts to scout the oppoent's teams development as well to help the manager for better game preparation. To become a scout, may be it's a good idea to have the managers from the top 2 divisions with the best records because they know how to run a team successfully..

2.) National team needs: If we can list out the type and the level of skills (Other than the recruitment section) needed for each position, it will certainly help the prospects' owners to train their players accordingly. I am not sure if it's worthwhile to open a sub-topic under this for Canadian player development discussion.

As majority of us know that we are a smaller BB country with limited number of good prospects compare to other countries..so it wil be great if all of us can contribute a little bit to help out the NT managers.....

I would be interested in helping take some of the load off the NT managers and I could help scout some prospects. I am dedicated and will definitely keep scouting and trying to find the best young Canadian draftees. I'm pretty sure I wanted to do this last season but I was a little late. And I am pretty familiar with how to contact managers of prospects. I have been keeping both you and paulo posted with my prospect. So RiP you can just let me know exactly what to look for before the draft and what divisions you want me to look into. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to post what you are looking for in a Draftee if you haven't already so we could get some other people helping in case we happen to miss anyone. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Jordanjr
