Nice summary. It will indeed be very close and perhaps I will be facing the oblivion in the first round. We shall see, I need to win, you need to lose and I need to catch up around 40 points of PD. It is a big call but we will try.

Broke my damn leg. Got hit by another bicycle (I ride to work every day), took a nasty spill - and now I'm the somewhat sheepish owner of a hairline fracture of my femur. Not a huge fan of Japanese hospitals, but here I am!
Sigh... G'luck in the playoffs (I'm on my iPhone... that too is 'not fun', if convenient!)!

iPhone and no flash. You should stick get the Samsung Galaxy S II. that will have flash and you can watch the whole game on your phone.

Reflection on the season. Well the season is over for 8 teams and the reality is it is really over for another 4 as well.

fumoffu platoon will beat Baikinman
Sapporo Fighters will beat Northern Kyushu Ram...
Shikoku Otaku will beat Kyoto Shogun

The only match that is interesting is aisteru.4ever v zenigata gangs, but it doesn't really matter, there is big gap between top 3 teams and the rest.

I hope next season we get a easy relegated team again, it was good for us when shibuya turned into the dhods unlike when Sharman came down and just made the competition pointless.

There will be 5 teams going to the JBBL this season with the Okayama Griffins being a bot.
The best loser from this list is going up.

Kanazawa Kings 22 0 2625 1033 1.000 1592 II.3
Higashikurume Light... 22 0 2643 1118 1.000 1525 II.4
Isehara Pistons 22 0 2511 1062 1.000 1449 II.2
BBstAr 21 1 2434 1345 0.955 1089 II.3 II.3
Sapporo Fighters 21 1 2099 1409 0.955 690 II.1
fumoffu platoon 20 2 2043 1115 0.909 928 II.1
Kamikaze Miyazaki 19 3 2251 1444 0.864 807 II.2

Once again II.1 are at a disadvantage because of the sronger competition. So Kanazawa Kings are certain to go up no matter what happens, if they win then Higashikurume Light or Isehara Pistons will go up if they lose. If all three of those win as they should then BBstAr (best player $10,000, second best $7,000) will be going up. Sorry Fighters, platoon and Miyazaki and Otaku, you have to win.

Finally I would like to reflect on the progress my rival NKRK and I have made.

Season 14
KS 11 wins 4th
NKRK 3 wins 8th

Season 15
KS 14 wins 3rd
NKRK 11 wins 4th

Season 16
KS 16 wins 3rd
NKRK 16 wins 4th.

We have both made great progress each season and I hope that perhaps soon we will be ready to challenge the mighty teams (Platoon, Otaku and Fighters) for the chance to travel to the JBBL one day.

Well done NKRK - we hope next season we can both improve again.

Thank you for the kind words.

Now have a laptop (stuck in hospital!), and I'm able to communicate a lil' better.

Yup, come a long way - tho' I don't really count S14: I only played a single game of that season. But I am happy to have taken a team that finished worst in the league, to 4th the following season, and... umm... 4th again! Sheesh...
But yeah - we're improving. And we'll lose one, maybe two out of Platoon/Otaku/Fighters. Who knows?

Anyway, I'm happy with my season, and my progress. I'd like to encourage those who just recently joined to stick with it... a bit of work and you'll enjoy a bit more success.

I actually think we will see 7 teams promoting. Unless something changes soon then Leaf Team7 and Uchiha Clan will also become Bot by the time promotions happen.

That's good to know. What are the odds of having multiple teams promoted from DII.1? I couldn't really follow Shogun's analysis on promtotion.

the promotion process will first promote all league winners. Then there will be a Bot sweep that removes any remaining Bots and then will replace them with the highest performaing team from level II remaining that won their division.

Referring to his list, this is the priority order for the Bot sweep promotions:

Kanazawa Kings 22 0 2625 1033 1.000 1592 II.3
Higashikurume Light... 22 0 2643 1118 1.000 1525 II.4
Isehara Pistons 22 0 2511 1062 1.000 1449 II.2
BBstAr 21 1 2434 1345 0.955 1089 II.3 II.3
Sapporo Fighters 21 1 2099 1409 0.955 690 II.1
fumoffu platoon 20 2 2043 1115 0.909 928 II.1
Kamikaze Miyazaki 19 3 2251 1444 0.864 807 II.2

Any team that wins their championship would already be promoted and thus would come off the list. Then if there in fact are 3 Bots swept out of JBBL then the top 3 remaining on this list would also promote.

This means for Shikoku Otaku to promote you have to win the championship. Fighters and Platoon have a good chance of promoting even if they don't win.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Fighters and Fu are quality teams - they'd deserve it. For Lightning to promote, I'd be fine with that. Kanazawa, I'm beginning to feel queasy. And Isehara, not sure they're close to JBBL level (for the record, I DEFINITELY don't think I am)... and BBstAr? Forget that, it'd be a joke (unless he's prepared to do some massive spending).
