Falco attempted to Kill Ottevaere in today's game.

Still won the game. bagged the HCA, and now, Falco's in trouble. Ivanov, Subic, Kazenbeinas and Ulrap have all played 48 minutes and have yet to play in the PO's! i know he's training GS, but still, that's going to be a high amount of minutes on his starters...

you can see in our game, Ottevaere injured, and several other players picked up his minutes ( it put a bitt of a strain on my other starters, but it's only a minor strain).

Now, in the PO's, i'm facing Tool, who's sold his starting C and his SF. He's rebuilding, so these PO's don't matter to him. If he's smart, he'll wait for the start of next season before buying his new players, cause prices are much higher for players now than they'd be in at the start of next season. If he waits till monday, he'll find players for dumbing prizes on the TL.

Anyhow, it's his call not mine. if he waits, he'll get em cheaper, but i don't want to influence his decision on it.

Still, i'm happy with the result. I'm feeling confident about these PO's.

T-stars - Rubo niel 170-167 without OT!!! Nice

Rubo Niel is offense in it's purest form. T-Stars beating them, that is pretty impressive. i Really dislike playing Rubo Niel. I'm a defensif orientated team and the problem with offensif orientated teams is that they are inconstistent. But if all the players on a very offensif minded team such as Rubo Niel start heating up, then it doesn't matter what defense you put against it. You'll end up losing anyhow.

defense beats offense in 99% of the times on BB. yet there is always that 1% that is left there...

Still 170-167, both teams must have been playing on allstar mode. No defense, mass offense :D

532000 for a 34 year-old?

Guess you are a little afraid from Falco after all? :-)

it's an insurance policy. If Ghislain Vanhaewaert wasn't injured, then i wouldn't have bought him. And tbh, i bought that player to face another team, not Falco :D (i already proved that i can beat Falco at home while having one of my starters injured...) By adding him, i could chose to rest a starter on my team against Tool. That would mean i don't need to train GS, because that injury to Otto really did kill my rotation. Otto can play SG, SF or PF. So him out hurts a lot.

I'm very confident i can get passed Falco without him. i proved that i could beat him yesterday. And mind you, my GS really wasn't that good...

and it's 500k, but he's extremely skilled. I missed out on my first 4 choices that i had lined up today. but i managed to bring in this one :D I intend on keeping him for next season unless if he starts losing skilsl like hell. then i'll salvage what i can get for him and buy a replacement.

alrighty, time for some PO/PD predictions:

PO's
Big 8
Angels vs Tool Belgium
Tool has sold quite 2 key players to his squad and is in rebuilding mode. Angels on the other hand have been battling one injury after the other on their starters. First Bari went down. Bari was yet to be cleared for a game, or Marichal had to be sent to the infirmary. And Marichal wasn't on the court yet, or Vanhaewaert went down (he'll be missing the entire postseason). Yesterday's game gave the latest scare for the Angels when Ottevaere had to be carried off on a stretcher, but other than some bruises, he seems fine. If the Angels can finally leave their injury problems behind them, then they could be a force to be reckoned with. 66% of the managers who voted have picked the Angels as their conference winners, so they'll be the team to beat while playing in their conference. Many questions remain unsolved. Where will their latest addition, Karmanas, end up playing? Angels already had a 6 man strong rotation, now they've got 7 strong players with 3 addition Bench players. That means they are 10 guy's deep. How will the coach play? He's got studs to play an outside game, but with the addition of Karmanas, the Angels can really get some large rotation going up front... With Marichal as the new Franchise player, will the Angels be able to live up to the expectations placed on them at the beginning of the season? only time can tell.

Falco Gent vs Beerschot Bears
Coach Steven has dug himself a hole here. 4 of his 5 starters all have played 48 minutes and have yet to get any PO action. That means that they'll have to train GS for sure and training GS is no miracle solution... Never the less, they face Beerschot Bears, who just sold of their PG ( weird timing...) Falco has changed from being an inside team to an outside team. But falco's biggest problem is it's rotation. they've got no bench, and that could be their greatest weakness. Still Falco have ulrap who's a player that should be reckoned with. He would be very close to making the NT if he were a Belgian player, so that say's enough. His starting line up is one very few teams can hope to match up with, but the question is, what will happen if a player gets into foultrouble... Beerschot Bears shouldn't count themselves out just yet, and the fact that Falco has played to many minutes on his starters could force him to take some risks against Beerschot Bears. Falco has to play PO Normal if they want to try and overpower the Angels on their own court, who will most likely make it to the conference finales. And Beerschot Bears has the reputation of being a pesky opponent, so this should be a pretty interesting game. Bears are strong on the inside, something which Falco isn't. Falco's strong on the outside and has to take some risks. So all in all, this should be a very interesting game.
