There are many issues with achievements at the moment, so we need a bit of time to get them sorted. We are working on them but a bit of patience is needed.

@LA-Karangula: His achievement was awarded for a match he played on 5/24/2008, as the achievement description notes. He may have gotten the achievement very late.

@Tuck: You should have kept the players at least during one Saturday night, because that's when the achievements are being calculated and given. I guess you'll have to try again.

@Northern Warlord: I agree with Manon and can't see the achievements you mentioned. Are you sure you were looking at your own team's achievements?

Not a big deal, but our League Leaderboard for Achievements was not updated since approx. 2 weeks.

According to the Board the Leader has 12 Points. I collected 13...

its true, its gone now. Well I can't tell for sure if it was my account (its been a while..) but I must have been on a pretty popular account then (+1000 forum balls), the chance isn't too big for that to happen. Maybe it was just a temporary issue.

Well... It has never been written anywhere that we have to wait for saturday night, and it cost me 100k$ (overpaid a player just for this), without saying how long it was to find 2 players named the same...

I mean, can't you do anything ?

I would :
- Put somewhere into the game manual something about the calculation time
- Correct mannually those who get penalized by this.

And then, you can protect yourself in the future by saying the calculation happend after, and that it is written in the rules...

@hirni: It's updated now.

@Tuck: The calculation of the achievements is a heavy process that needs to run when it won't affect other parts of the game. If we do it more often, we risk affecting the performance of the site. As for the game manual, we'll consider putting it in there somewhere but since it's not a critical part of the experience, I'd rule against adding it (the rules are too long as it is, as I see it).

I'd advise always checking if the achievement was awarded before selling or firing players, or removing any other prerequisite for the achievements. Some achievements are just too hard to code and/or too heavy on the calculations to assign retroactively, and this one is one of them, I'm afraid. Sure, I could give it to you manually but then I'd have to do that for everyone and before you know it, it would be all I would be doing all day.

Leaderboards says that my league leader has ten points. I have 22. I am the king! (although I think that some old teams might have an even higher score)

Yeah, we were only showing Supporter teams in the league leaderboard. Fixed now. And you're still not the king....

I believe i should have had this achievement on the last update:

- Next achievement: Day Trader (+25%) | Level 3 | 7211 Teams Awarded.
Federico Velázquez Sold Davka BC 4/23/2013 $ 338 300
Federico Velázquez Bought Grudusk Elite™ 4/10/2013 $ 229 600

it was about a 47% profit (well more than the 25% needed) unless I am misunderstanding this achievement.

The amount of the money earned needs to be higher than the paid price + 25%, but, here's the important bit, the earned amount is after taxes. While I don't want to give up specific numbers about how much that is in this case, it is lower than the paid price + 25%.
