Just like the loss to Hong Kong this week, win or lose this game Friday brings us joy 😊


And yes, we obviously expect a victory on Friday but will celebrate a loss nonetheless ;)

It's a Friday game rather than a Monday game
I'm sure you're aware. But just making sure all bases are covered.

Just like the loss to Hong Kong this week, win or lose this game Friday brings us joy 😊


Not a bad idea to remind me that. I may or may not have noticed that. I was checking regularly to see when our semi-final would show up on the schedule, so I might have also noticed the date. And the automatic team is up to date, so it would have been close to the real team anyway !

But now, I did set up a line up. Especially as the GS and training update should not happen before the start of the game. A bit sad I cannot plan a scrimmage on Monday. Hopefully, it will be possible on Friday after the semi.


I'm pretty sure that it was possible (at least a couple of seasons ago) to set a scrimmage for Monday if you didn't make the finals. At least in seasons 16+18, where I reached the semi finals with the german U21. When I reached the semi finals in the WC in season 17, the semis were played on a monday, it seems. But you're not (yet) playing semi finals at the WC.

Ah, and I just noticed: last season, when Aalmon reached the semis with the u21, he seems to have set up a scrimmage for monday, too. So it should be possible. You just have to find an opponent. Maybe ask the team that looses in the other semi finals. Or, just to be sure to have a game on monday, win the game against China. Would be the easiest solution ;)

But ok. I'll settle for HT Kim. He entered the top 10 with 60 assists in a single season. Hopefully a couple more in this seasons last two games.


Not yet present in the top 10 though ! He is tied, but only the oldest recordman is shown. He is quite likely to be part of the list at the end of the season indeed. Hopefully with at least 65 assists to take hold of the 9th place ahead of two very old timers that we don't quite know.

However the most impressive stat record for the season is for KH Jeon who is currently sitting at #2 in the all time single best rebounding season. With a possible shot at the top position. And the rebounding stats are hard to beat as the last guy to enter the list was HH Yoo during the 30', multiple times.


Yes, he's tied for 10th place with SB Lee (whom we know) and the one shown, KY Jeon (whom we don't really know). Would be great if he got those 5-6 assists ... but even so, it's nice to see that he is contributing nicely despite his age. ;)

And thanks for pointing out KH Jeon - that's amazing. Would be awesome if he managed to grab that #1 spot. JS Song also with an awesome season, would have led the way in the last 6 seasons (topping himself and Jeon, once). Great team effort this season. And a well deserved trophy!

The WC qualifier will be against Argentina and without home advantage this time it will be close to impossible to win. We might have a small chance against Mexico, but not there. Especially as it doesn't seem enthusiasm is resetting. If I had known a bit of those facts, I would have tried to improve ours.


Oh, well, that has changed. Don‘t really know anything about that new qualification mode. Would be great to qualify, but hey: it‘s already the most successful season in Korean history, followed by statsmans „almost trophy“-season about 30 seasons back.

We‘ll not be hosting the asian tournament in the next 6 (?) seasons because we got a medal. But after those 6 seasons, we should again have a great team that can compete for medals. Right, Nachti, Statsman, Perpete and whoever wants to train korean NT players besides me ;)

And: we could try to give statsman the chance to have a go at a medal in the meantime ;)

I believe the level of Asia U21 has gone up significantly and it'll take a special generation of draftees and trainers to get us there...

but that said.... we have a monster on our team next season, that should be fun and interesting, at least in the sense of frustrating our opponents.

and Perpete, awesome job. Although it might be fun to scratch those achievements off your bucketlist, making the world cup, we might have end up being the bottom dweller, or the tournament punching bag, and that wouldn't have been fun. =T
though it would have been nice to see how our team lines up with the cream of the crop, I guess we can measure up here in your qualifiers... but as already said, you have done an awesome job. let us celebrate y(our) achievement
