It's an interesting transfer for sure. That player can be incredible, but at the same time, that's still a high price.
He was transfer listed before for a ridiculous price and didn't sell. At that time, I posted him in the player ads thread because I thought he could be an all-time great Canadian NT player. I still think he can be that player with heavy IS and FWD 1-on-1. Rebounding could be the best skill in the game and he's freaking 19 at SF. He's elite-elite REB and elite OD/ID/SB/PAS for a SF. That is freaking valuable to me. Maybe not 6.5m valuable, but I'd pay 4m for him in a nanosecond if my focus was more towards training.
It only takes one user to be really want a player and make an aggressive bid like that. I think it's a genuine bid. What's most telling to me is the user who's bidding on him. Tragedy Team is a really committed manager with like +28m in surplus transfer history money. Between the transfer list being so limited, the possibility he loves this player (and the player being quite great and unique), and his transfer history, I can't fathom it not being a legit bid.
