Maybe a nice example of Patient in my game today
(36360008)

My shot percentages are really sky high!

I guess because of your opponent od was inept :) 12-19 is very good 3pt percentage.

Anyone could have those percentages against 2-3 defense...I guess even FCP would work better than 2-3, so it was a very poor defensive choice by your opponent.

So you don't think it has to do with the offense choice, you believe every other offense would have that kind of percentages?

Overall, I would never use Patient on an important match. It's just not reliable and in most tested cases, it failed shortly.

Besides, I still have big trouble understanding when it can be effective.

I got results from slow pace tactics like patient when I face stronger teams. I have beaten team from better leagues using patient. You have to try and, sometimes, fail... in order to suceed! Passing is very important in this tactic too.

I concur. Not a huge fan however, beat a better team using patient.

Actually, it's harder to play with slow paced tactics against stronger defenses. Your success must be because of your players skills (like high passing) or you had some goss mismatches but it shouldn't be considered as the best option in these situations overally..
