All-Star Game

Well, as expected, the players of the Great 8 were just too much for the Big 8. The Great 8 was able to beat the Big 8 in a score of 164-158. The player of the game (and was a debatable issue between tough and some other managers) was Bode-Diggity Dogs PG Henrik Buer, who had 33 points, and 7 assists. Forjaz showed well, (and there was a debatable issue there) getting in 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks. We spoke to him and Buer. Buer: "Well, good job Great 8! We did a fairly great job, I passed the ball, scored the points, and was able to help us carry ourselves to a victory! Overall I had a great day! And I stopped the critics." Now Forjaz: "Well, did a good job. Thought I had a few more open shots than Buer, but he does what he does. I won't go ino that. He is the most expensive player in the league. Still can't wonder why Dan Bodner can keep him. Is he running in debt?" Then Buer chimed in "Our team is doing just fine, why don't you go and shut your mouth?" Forjaz:" Hey hey, I'm not saying anything, although you look like LeBron and the Cavs. Good with you there, but trash when you aren't." Buer: "What did you say? Why do you call us that!? We beat you!" Forjaz: "Really, we did that on purpose. We did that to surprise yall and have higher enth. All you got is low, low enth. Watch out cause we're gonna beat ya down!" And then I say, "Quiet! This is a reporter here!" Well, now I'm speaing to Donnie Keating, also of the Bode-Diggity Dogs: "Well, we did have a good showing. |I was able to contribute. Almost got a double-double too. But nw I'm focused on Buer and I finally getting out of D5. Let's go Dogs." Well, now I couldn't get a hold on Host deter092, but I did get a response from Great 8 manager representative tough: "Good day. Hey yall, stop arguing! AY!AY!AY! This is why me nd the Dogs are rivals huh? Well, we're focused on getting our enth. up. Thats all we're worried bout. Let's go and win some and get some PD! Well, now we speak with Chicago Scrapper Milos Bilic. "Ah, good day. High scoring. Even though my teammates and I are in 4th in the conference, we united and were able to tackle down the Big 8. Go red!" Well, here I am speaking to 76ersss guy Immanuël Derammelaere: "Well, another day in Phily. Great City. Had a good day with 12 points. Cool day. Let's go and beat some guys." Now, I tried to speak to Big 8 manager representative Cometahalley, but he wasn't able to speak to us saying, "I need to get to the hotel and pack to wherever I'm heading, since the team is bot, I might never get any sleep!" But we were able to get NT prospect Ezra Prather. "Man, wished was able to get trained here. But overall, good day. Good times with my teammates in Blue Unis (Don't really like the Black and Red, Blue is my favorite color) But still, even though we lost, at least we gave it our all and had fun. Now Jorge Carlos Portabales: "Man, had a hard time with Forjaz again! He's just too good. Give the guy some credit. If Buer wasn't there, he would've clearly got 30+pts. Good guy. Wish you luck though in the finals!" Now we speak to the best player from the Big 8, Dundalk DoubleDribbler Simon Kaminskiy, who almost had a triple-double! "Man, I gave it my all. I tried my best. I did the best I can. I really wanted to win it for us. But I guess it wasn't meant to be. Now me and my team's goal is to be able to be in the Playoffs and win it all this season. Well, even though there were some arguments, there are some All-Stars up in here! From the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this is Max Benson, Jack Casslie, Matt Davis, David Anderson, and James Boyle, reporting for The Eagle and sidekick The Eagle 2.

New Guy with Scrappers

Man, breaking news here, Chicago Scrappers are getting some Centers to make their run at the playoffs. They just got a 32k C in Patrick Orrù for 200k. "Crap, they're trying to compete with Coleman and our Bigs. I may be forced to get a super Big by the deeadline." arggh, said tough. We'll have more as oon as it comes. As long as GS and enthusiasm is on your side you have nothing to worry about. As for training don't do anything with Revfi that takes away from Coleong or whatever the name for your acual trainee's is. They are the ones who can actually get pops consistantly that will improve your team.

Cole-long man, it's a combination of Coleman and Delong. Chek out the roster and you'll see why I combined it.

I know, I just couldn't remember how to spell it. Just trying to say you have nothing to worry about if you manage things right and keep giving those two training.

Scouts Are Hired

Well, tough and Transfer Market Guy Shawn Dexter have hired a couple of scouts, a guy named Jason Nickels and another named Xavier Hernandez. This is what tough told them: Just try for anyone who has a 5 ball rating on the first part, if they have a lot of points, interview them. 10+pts I'd say. So go for that. Good Luck and let's hope we can get a steal like Bode-Diggity Dogs did. At our point in the draft, 16th pick and if we're able to get a P.Allstar at that point, it'd be a steal. I mean, as it seems we'll have the 16th, 32nd, and 48th pick. So hopefully yall can do better than the scouts last year. Got it? "We will try our best and hopefully get the guy you wish." Well, this is Jack Casslie, reporting for The Eagle.

Hey Guys I'm just going for a Star+ potential guy. Even that kind of caliber would help. Cause at that point in the draft, it's hopeless to get the WOW player (superstar+po.) 2nd Guy I scouted, he has a 5 ball rating, maybe he's the answer. IDK, all I want is star+potnetial.

What about the advice someone gave you, of training up Colelong's OD and PA, and Handling and JS? To lay back on the "primaries" for a little, to help do salary management, and to have better balanced players for your team for best re-sell value in future? You'd have to play them out of position to do so... seems better to do now while in a D. V where you could pull it off, and have a record good enough to keep you in playoffs, then can always swicth back to normal positions and primary training for playoffs if you don't want to trains ST/FT

Hard Loss

It was a tough one today. The Mountain Eagles get their first loss in while, losing to the HMS Seawolves 92-86. The wolves were killing us on the boards. Player of the game was Paris Papapetrou, who had 15 points, 20 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. We spoke to Val Delong, who had 5 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks: "Man, we had a bad day today. We learned that we can't keep teams out-rebounding us. We got killed today cause of rebounds. And we all need to get trained in rebounding or we'll have a hard time in D4. We nned to get more rebounds. We needed to get more stops. We tried hard at the end, but it just wasn't enough. We were terrible rebounding today." The Eagles were losing going into the break at halftime 47-36. It got bigger at the end of the third, 55-71 then. But the Eagles didn't give up. They made a tremendous comeback that if they pulled it off, the biggest comeback in Mountain Eagle history. But they couldn't get as colse as 4. Here's Narcisco Catandil on the situation: "Man we got too overpowered on the boards. We didn't even compete with papasomething. He killed us! Good for him. But what we need to do next scrimmage is get the boards. Boards are key to this game. And we won't do well without em." Here's tough:"Man, tough loss. We almost did it. At least I know my team is able to make a comeback. All I know is that after I do some ID training, I'll go straight to Rebounding. We need the work on it. And it'll benefit us at the most crucial times, lie in the playoffs. But we need to learn how to rebound. I still don't know why Terrence didn't call a timeout!" Here's Terrence: "Man, I thought that we would be able to comeback and win it easily, but I guess I was being too maive and didn't care. At least it's a scrimmage. So now, we need to laern what to do for our league game. Do that and come back strong next week against the Lasers." Well, stay tuned Saturday for when the Mountain Eagles will take on the Shep Sords st 7PM. This is David Anderson, reporting for The Eagle.
