I'm really hoping you lose to eagles whilst they run base offence.

Well it happened, and I have to accept that I just got plain beat trying to pull a cheeky GDP game 2 win.

Still got HCA for game 3 though...

The mistake you've made is assuming that we're the Warriors simply on the basis of our three point shooting percentage. The composition of my team and it's strong points is in fact more comparable to San Antonio.

You're a mistake, comparing yourself to the great San Antonio.....

Well that's a disappointing reaction. I was hoping for a longer post where you call the game broken or unrealistic.

What the hell Buzzerbeater how do professional basketballers magically forget how to do something in the course of one week? Double pop downs are so broken and unrealistic and I can't believe how quickly you turned my G-L-M into a pile of gobshite what is this fix your game BB's...

Lordy wanted some salt so I decided to grant his wish ;).

I think this is an even better title win for me than the one in season 32. For starters, it was done with an All-Australian roster, which has been done before but remains an uncommon achievement. Luka Cicvaric went off for his best ever season by far, and Rhys Melmeth now has the top-tier championship trophy that his immense talent deserved all along.

It was also a much better season statistically, as we ranked 1st on both offence and defence in the regular season, and only lost twice in a total of twenty-seven games played including play-offs. And even when things got tough in the play-offs, with in-game injuries hitting us on more than one occasion (thankfully nothing long-term), the team still managed to pull through and show exactly why we were the best side in the league this season.

Take nothing away from Urmummas and West Coast Eagles. The former gave me a metaphorical heart attack at the end of the third quarter, and the latter came about as close as a fourth seeded team as ever come to winning the ABBL, winning back to back games on the road against quality opponents just to make the best-of-3 finals.

I'm looking forward to taking another shot at the B3 world championship. I need to restructure my team a bit with Marchini and Ngata losing a step this season, but I do have a bit of money to spare to find new additions. It's really going to come down to how lucky I get with the regular season draw for the B3. It's not a great system; if you get given two or more away games against top-tier opponents you're likely to be knocked out through little fault of your own. But unless it is changed, I'll just have to hope that the draw is kinder to me than it was last time I was in this position.
