So, I guess everyone is loading up eh? I buy one player and the entire league seems to copy. Hopefully I don't get CT'd like 5 times in a row like the middle of last season...

Welcome new folks to the league! Will have some fun facts posted soon, unless everyone else keeps buying more players

TO is back and ready to take you down!

Quick Power Rankings as we go into Season

1) LA Lords [$ 544 908]
Led by Foward Sigmunds Gudrenieks, this team has a very formiddable starting 5. Each one of their starters could be a star player on another team, so he has a lot of mouths to feed. Seems like he is switching out his guards as well. We'll see if injuries bite him again, as his depth does leave some to be desired since he's boasting such a strong 5. Frontrunner atm.

2) Doomsday Doomsville Dragons [$ 401 098]
Big 3 of Gonzalo, Torrez, and Vitaly. All in their prime too. He's ready to go all in this season, as he also has a couple of nice wings in Harms and Hinojosa that he's been training up. Same depth issues as LA. Maybe he doesn't even need it, he's loaded.

3) Gunslingers [$ 386 677]
Sold off his vitamin, but he still has a nice loaded starting rotation. Well rounded bunch with an Italian named Massimilliano who's the youngin in the lineup. He does have decent depth on the backend, so I have him here for now. He's the D2 demotee for a reason, so he definitely has acumen to beat out some of the teams around them.

4) Mountain Eagles [$ 396 758]
Anchored by big man Oullette, he leads a young group of guards and wings headlined by Lince and newly acquired Victor Marino. Will Lince and co. improve enough to win the league? They have decent depth at the backend however it feels like they're still missing something to compete with LA.

5) Pittsburgh Peacocks [$ 385 072]
Definition of LI Classic over here with 2 behemoth big men headlining this crew. While his backcourt does leave room for growth, he needs have nice solid depth top to bottom. Maybe it won't matter that they're playing like its season 28 if their bigs are that dominant...

6) Jim Almeidas Janitor Crew [$ 306 253]
This is my hot take of the power rankings. It'd be very mundane if I just rank everyone based on salary, so I have Antwon batting above his belt with the squad he has here. I expect a ton of growth from his 20 yo guard trio, and that + vets=playoff team to watch for later in the season. His competitive experience w/NTs helps too, I guess

7) Motor City Waddupdoe [$ 364 521]
I feel like a lot of teams in this league are developing guard tandems and trios. While they've grown in Motor City and he's improved thoughout his time here, I'm not sure if his developing guards are on the same tier of teams such as Janitor or Eagles. His bigs will put in work though. I expect him to be adding seasoning one more season before he goes all in...

8) Bonham Bricklayers [$ 351 206]
I'm aware he's selling a couple of guys, but he has some nice upgrades to pair with potential U21 star Big Berman. Koci is still around and looking to help carry Bonham to more than a playoff berth this season. Young squad though in terms of BB life though, so wondering if he's ready to compete with some of the bonafide vets that the Big 8 has.

9) AMC Spirits [$ 267 181]
The salary disparity is huge here in the Big 8, someone will be spending a ton of money to be a 5th seed relegation team. AMC might be making the smart play here raking money while he fixes his team and hang in the relegation series area.

10) 2 left feet [$ 293 205]
I have him behind a couple of teams ahead because his team is getting old. That, and his stars don't feel like true stars to me. ala the Julius Randles of the world, fugazi stars. He might still have a firm playoff seed though unless any of the competitors have something to say about it.

These payrolls are crazy. Still getting use to how cheap older quality players are also.

Interesting pre-season rankings, thanks tough. Would like to upgrade but kinda difficult on a shoestring budget. Trying to work on it without blowing up my team completely. We'll see.
