Since we're one short of the NBBA, should that be E you all here?

Since I have more time now, I will be bringing back my power rankings that I used to do for my lower leagues. This season looks forward to be interesting one. In the Big 8 the battle of Detroit returns while also adding the battle of Pittsburgh. Add in 2 NBBA demotes and we have quite the conference. The Great 8 looks more traditional but with all but 2 of the 8 teams above 500k in salaries it will come down to the best manager wins. All the teams in the league look very close and should be a tight battle all the way through the season. Once more if you are unsatisfied with your ranking, simply win and you will move up.

After Matchday #1 we have,
1. Big Gulp Reincarnated (1-0) - Good opening win against Irvine
2. Flashover (1-0) - Classic example of not pretty but getting the job done over Detroit Mercy
3. Moe Eisley Imperials (1-0) - Hard fought win at Home over Philadelphia
4. Irvine Lakers (0-1) - Tough loss at home to Big Gulp. But that is why Big Gulp is #1
5. Swamp Things (1-0) - Good win against McKinley in OT. Clutch FT shooting will come in handy
6. McKinley Marauders (0-1) - The exact for McKinley against Swamp Things. Poor FT shooting cost him the game
7. Detroit Globetrotters (1-0) - Opening road at Pittsburgh BC. Not bad start but will see more before major considerations. The battle of Detroit will help decide that.
8. Detroit Mercy Mavericks (0-1) - Not a bad performance despite the loss. Most teams would struggle against Randle. Let’s see how they do in the battle of Detroit.
9. Springfield Storm (1-0) - The upstart Storm upset a playoff team from last season in the Sounders. Good opening road win.
10. Missouri City Sounders (0-1) - Tough loss to swallow for Missouri. Just a bad game shooting the basketball.
11. Philadelphia Cheesesteaks (0-1) - Despite the loss, they put less into the game on the road and were still competitive. They will look to bounce back next week.
12. Pittsburgh Pressure (1-0) - An opening win at home against Carolina. These are the games I will need to win if I want to survive again.
13. Deportivo Saprissa (1-0) - The most surprising outcome of the first Gameday. Even though they put more into the game, this was still unexpected
14. Prairie Dogs (0-1) - What went wrong for the Dogs? I’m not sure exactly but it will need to fixed if they want to survive.
15. Carolina Rebels (0-1) - Opening loss the Pressure. It’s not the fact that they lost that’s concerning. It’s that the game wasn’t very competitive and they gave up 106 pts to one of the worst offensive teams in the league.
16. Pittsburgh BC (0-1) - Starting a 7k player in D2 is never going to work. He also didn’t start Kreuzweg in the game. I assume training proposes as the reason. But improvements on the inside are desperately needed.

Power Rankings after Game #3

1. Big Gulp Reincarnated (3-0) - Two nice easy wins
2. Moe Eisley Imperials (3-0) - Solid two wins against Flashover and the Globetrotters. The Flashover was quite impressive with an excellent defensive performance.
3. Swamp Things (3-0) - Good road win against Dogs and at home against the upstart Storm
4. McKinley Marauders (2-1) - Two good bounce back wins vs the Lakers and Sounders
5. Flashover (2-1) - Bad showing against the imperials. But a good demolition against the Pressure
6. Springfield Storm (2-1) - Still off to good start despite the loss to Swamp Things
7. Carolina Rebels (2-1) - What a bounce back for Carolina. A win against BC was expected, but then they crushed the Mavericks on the road too.
8. Irvine Lakers (1-2)
9. Detroit Globetrotters (1-2) - 2 tough losses for Detroit against across town rivals Mavericks and Imperials
10. Philadelphia Cheesesteaks (1-2) - Philadelphia had a Pittsburgh double matchup last against the Pressure and BC, went 1-1. But not to ones expected, losing to BC, but beating the Pressure. It seems that the hockey game tonight in Philadelphia between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia will decide the series.
11. Detroit Mercy Mavericks (1-2) - Good win in the battle of Detroit, but mind boggling loss to Carolina
12. Pittsburgh BC (1-2) - They got an upset win against Philadelphia, which shows they can win.
13. Deportivo Saprissa (1-2) - Two big losses for Deportivo to Storm and Big Gulp
14. Pittsburgh Pressure (1-2) - Well the offense was always the question mark for this team and we got an F this week. Only scoring 16 points in a half against Philadelphia and only 72 PPG for the 2 games. Not good for a team who plays in PPG paints arena.
15. Missouri City Sounders (0-3) - If my offense was bad, The sounders couldn’t hit the ocean with a beach ball. Only 65.5 PPG for the week
16. Prairie Dogs (0-3) - Might be a bit harsh on them given their opponents this week (Swamp Things and Lakers), but somebody had to be last.

After Game 5

1. Big Gulp Reincarnated (5-0) - Good road win against Swamp things.
2. Moe Eisley Imperials (5-0) - The only other unbeaten has to be #2
3. McKinley Marauders (4-1) - Back to back home was against Deportivo and the Storm
4. Flashover (4-1) - Again two easy home wins against BC and Carolina
5. Swamp Things (4-1) - Still off to a solid start despite the loss to Big Gulp
6. Irvine Lakers (3-2) - Irvine bounces back with the same two wins as McKinley, but both on the road
7. Philadelphia Cheesesteaks (3-2) - The cheesesteaks completed a sweep of Detroit with a double.
8. Detroit Globetrotters (2-3) - The Globetrotters did what Mavericks couldn’t. Beat the Pressure
9. Springfield Storm (2-3) - A double L vs the Lakers and Swamp
10. Pittsburgh Pressure (2-3) - Good news, my team is unbeaten when we score over 100. Bad news is we don’t do it very often. Next up is the battle of Pittsburgh.
11. Carolina Rebels (2-3) - The imperials and flashover show Carolina the business.
12. Pittsburgh BC (1-4) - Same for BC as with Carolina. Again the battle of Pittsburgh awaits
13. Deportivo Saprissa (1-4) - McKinley and Irvine smack Deportivo around
14. Detroit Mercy Mavericks (1-4) - Losing to the cheesesteaks is one thing. Losing to the Pressure in Detroit is an embarrassment.
15. Prairie Dogs (1-4) - They won a game, so that is nice.
16. Missouri City Sounders (0-5) - Welp, they tried to win a game. Didn’t work out for them.

After Game 5
