No one seems to be starting up the annual thread, so I think I shall.

What's up with ANU basketball he has a team salary of about 410k and he hasn't been on since the 10th of August? If he doesn't sell some players soon he is gonna be in big debt.

On another note, good luck to all teams this season, may the best team win.

I'm not sure whether I am going to buy someone now or later, but I might even go for the promotion next season. Not sure whether to go for promotion this season or next...

Give it some time, get used to the competition, save up and then go for promotion.

Can't believe I lost the tournament game, one of my best players fouled out in the first quarter!! And my opponent went crunch on top of that. GEEZZ, what a sad ending to my run at the tournament. At least my fans are happy with my performance in the cup.

Hey all,

so no one has put anything up for a while now so thought id get everyone talking again. What everyone been up to? Iv come to the conclusion my team is shitter than i actually thought. For the last few seasons iv tried just getting guys with more offesnse than defense, and she hasnt been working or me. So im in the process of changing my whole team around. Im going back to the defense minded team that got me so far when i first started.

Whats everyones thoughts on this. Do you guys prefer offense, defense or even teams?

Iv also been pretty lazy lately getting rid of all my old guys so in the process of getting rid of them as well. Also, thought id be honest, i dont have that much money. I just thought that i could possibly scare some of you guys out of going for promotion thinking that i would have an easier run at the title. Haha. worked on a couple of ya, but go for it. Gotta love the mind games in sport, trying to maniuplate people into stuff to help you out.

My favourite one was back in the season 14 finals series. I bluffed 'Beernuts' by playing low post with some of my players in dif positions to make him think i was an easy win, whilst playing an outside game all year. Then the next 2 games i kept playing low post with him thinking that i was going to play an outside game. With me defeating him in OT in the TB putting me into Div II.

Have you guys done anything like this? Whats your best story?

Ive always been in favour of a defensive first unit with offensive second unit to chip in some points

When I was in div 4 we had a real arrogant bloke who went undefeated fo the season but little did he know that I had been training my centre at small forward and I flogged him by 40+ in the GF
