Veteran Big Dog, Du Hongjing, who recently surpassed 10,000 career points for the club, is hoping with the help of a lot of strapping tape and a little luck he might finally be getting a squad around him worthy of making a Division 2 final.
"Look, I've carried us to a few semis over the years, but I think we've got some younger guys now who might actually be able to carry their own weight for a chance. It's refreshing." The aging star said.
Chief among those young guys expected to do some heavy lifting is Lambkin, or "Chops" as his teammates call him. The big Lambchop seems to finally be coming of age and hopes to one day replicate the efforts of his veteran team mate by making the Australian National Team.
"Yeah, obviously that's a goal, but I can assure you I won't spend every 5 minutes telling everyone about it, unlike some old fossils around here...."
