My Fellow Americans,

I am here today to ask for you to vote for me for U21 manager. I love the USA NT program and am very excited for our future prospects over the next couple of season. I would just like to thank EBW for the amazing job he has done over last four seasons. He had an incredible stretch of 4 golds in 4 seasons, maybe the best managerial run in U21 history.

I have been very active at the USA Offsite for the last two years. I have been involved with the U21 program as a domestic scout since Season 24. This last season I helped with the scouting of 22-23 for the NT. I have followed and participated in U21 and NT game planning and discussion. This season I also kind of became in charge of opponent scouting for the NT. I am a huge training nerd. I wrote a great guide to elastic training for guards on the offsite. I love talking about builds and training plans. I can’t wait to mold our next 2 U21 classes!

As U21 manager, I will strive to do the following things:

Scouting: There was not really any scouting done on the U21 level last year. I think that scouting is the most important aspect of a U21 program. As U21 manager, I will help recreate the U21 scouting system that is easy to implement and transferable to the next U21 manager. With the problems and outages in recent months of the offsite database and tools, the next U21 manager might have to be able to run a U21 scouting program without the luxury of the offsite scouting database. I have the tools, savvy, and experience to have the scouting program ready to go the minute I am elected whether or not the NT Database working or not. I also plan to try to improve the scouting program so that our domestic scouts have more information such skills and possible u21 training plans for each potential u21 prospect, so they can focus on mentoring the manager of the prospect rather than just messaging for skill updates.

Mentorship: I would like to begin to shift our focus with the scouting program from training U21 players to training the lower division USA managers that wind up drafting with those players. Its no secret that BB’s numbers are decreasing. Without the offsite and the great managers who have mentored me, I probably would have quit a BB a long time ago. We need to act in order to get new managers active and involved with the NT program and the offsite or our numbers will be begin to fall as well. We need to teach new managers how to play BB. If we can decrease the BB learning curve and get new USA managers excited about the U21 and NT program, then we will not only be able to get a great U21 player trained but also a manager who will want to train future U21/NT players and be involved and active on the offsite.

GS Lottery: GS wins and loses games in BB. In order to promote good minute management, I will put all USA U21 managers in a GS lottery. Every game that your guy plays in 9 GS for the U21 team, you get one lottery ticket. The more games your guy is in 9 GS, the more chances you have to win the lottery. Winner gets a supporter subscription.
Some of this will take a lot of hard work and multiple seasons of planning and implementation, but its work I am willing and capable of doing. In the end, winning this election is not all that important to me. I am a team player and in end I just want to see the U21 and NT program achieve the best possible success. I hope you vote for the candidate that you think will be the best manager.

I call on you now to cast your vote (preferably for me), join the offsite, and help me (or some other guy/gal) scout and mentor the next class of USA U21 players and managers! Please feel free to ask me anything in the debate thread.

Hello, I am General Manager Nick. I am currently a manager in division 4, and have played this game for about 10 seasons. I play basketball for my local high school and as a result, I like to think that i know basketball. I have read the strategy part of the game manual multiple times and i am familiar with almost all of the strategies. I think you should vote for me, because I know basketball and I think I can help get USA to the top, and keep them there. Vote for GM-Nick. I have spent the majority of my 10 seasons here training big men in hopes of getting them to a national level. I think i know what it takes to make a caliber team, I guarantee you all that the team and I would both perform well if I am voted in. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Its a sad day to see that EBW has retired from managing the U21 team, and that the USA U21 team lost their greatest manager of all time, but even after his retirement, THE WINNING MUST CONTINUE.

Hello USA, I am mars2333 and I am here to take the USA U21 team to win the world championships for the third time in a row and keep up the golden era of USA national team basketball. As we all know there will be massive changes this season involving the empty lineup prevention addition to the game, and as some people know, the USA offsite database is not working. We could be at a disadvantage this year if the database is not fixed soon. The team will need ways to get around this disadvantage if we want to bring back gold from worlds.

I have some reasons and ideas why I should be the U21 manager.

Scouting and making the best players possible
With the database on the offsite not working, we might have to go into this season without a database to use.
There are some players that are good enough to get on the U21 team, but this player was not found by scouts and their manager did not message the manager about that player. With improvement in scouting, we can find these players even if our database is still not working. The US U21 team will need a lot of scouts if the database still does not work. The biggest thing I want to scout are our current 20 year olds because those players will be the team we use when we compete in the world championships in season 31. I want to be sure that those 20 year olds will be the best team in the world championship in season 31. I also want our current 21 year olds to be good so we can qualify for worlds next season. Also, I want to know about the new draftees and current 19 year olds that could potentially get on the U21 team in the next few seasons. I want to make sure that they get the correct training to be able to make the U21 team.

Tactics:
With the new empty lineup prevention code being implemented this year, many of the national teams will have to find something else to use other than blank lineups. I have experience in tactics other than blank lineups so I will be a step ahead of the other nations. Also I have experience in not getting hit with correct GDP guesses from the other teams, while still being able to play my best tactics.

Game Shape
The most important thing about the national team, the game shape of our national team players. We need players to be at 9 game shape every time they play a game. Although the manager does not have control over what the players game shape will be, I want to make sure that the players will have the best chance possible to be at 9 game shape when they play. I will encourage game shape training for current U21 players because even if the players get perfect minutes during the week, their game shape can still go down. I want to take the randomness out of game shape and make sure that the team is always at full strength.

So vote for mars2333 right now, and let's go bring back gold from the next world championship.

Vote for me I just started buzzerbeater 4 seasons ago and I quit in season 20 and decided to start playing again. So I have expirence so please vote for me. I know what to look for in rookies it is not about skills. It is about dose this player fit in and that is the problem with everyone else they just look at the skills.
