Led by franchise star Michael Lugo, and finances seemingly pulled out of thin air, the Desert Eagles have finally accomplished their long-awaited goal. Now we move on to the next goal, winning a trophy on the biggest stage of the country.
The fans have cried, they have laughed, they have yelled, they have celebrated. Nothing compares to how they’re feeling now. Eagles fans will certainly be flocking to The Nest next season to watch their beloved team play in the NBBA.
This is the second major run the Eagles have attempted, the prior led by club legend Carroll Brady. When asked for a quote about his former team’s success, Brady had the following to say,
