They are killing the mojo! Especially at the beginning of the season. We are almost to game three of Season 32 and still dealing with background issues? 2-3 days to update standings and stats? It's like playing Bill James Fantasy Baseball back in the 80's when you got weekly updates by mail. That used to tolerable when that was all we had. Times and technology (along with expectations) have changed (understatement--sorry). What we deal with here is not quite that bad, but closer to that than it should be in 2015. Not the end of the world, but it needs to get better to maintain interest.

Well, after protesting a bit on the buggs forum, I was about to come here and make a post exactly like you did Bill.
My suggestion here is: Season 33 super cool features - NO MORE DELAYS YEAHHHH!!!
Exactly like Bill said, we are in 2015, season 32...the game is taking 2 days to get league page updated...training is taking 5+ hours...this can't keep up.
Marin, how hard is it to fix delays? Because is becoming worse every year, and every year there are less users playing and more tecnology available, we don't get it. Is it because of 30 seasons of data stored somewhere? Reset those old guys idk.

Take any action you are about to do, and it's easier by a factor of infinity to delay it an hour as opposed to make it happen an hour ago. Databases are notoriously picky about deadlocks and running slow when things aren't configured right or a bad procedure gets into there.

If you are so keen on getting better performance you should throw money at BB.

With a declining userbase and declining income, combined with outdated databases full with junk data (hundreds of thousands of meaningless teams and players stored), I'd rather not expect any improvements in the near future.

Hopefully the teams removed will have some sort of impact.

Timing is suspect: two games into Season 35 and more training delays?

I posted about it last in Season 32; I'm sure it was delayed in 33 or 34, if not both. It always happens after the second game of the season; this one was minor; the delay after Season 32 was a little longer. I mention it only because the timing is fairly consistent;

Short delays are not a problem; and I might have a unique approach, but I count on the training updates for lineups for the following week. You are correct, a few hours is not a big problem.
