I'm not sure if this counts as a bug but iv noticed my player Lloyd Sprague getting into more foul trouble then before as he continues to pop in his defense of all things. 1.9 up to 2.3 which then increased to 2.9 in regards to personal fouls per season. Even in tonight's cup match he's already fouled out early in the game and the competition isn't even that great. Its like he's getting more foul happy every time he grows in his ID which doesn't make sense. If your players are popping in skills they should be getting gradually better, not worse especially if they didn't exhibit a heavy foul tendency before earlier in their career signifying a possible hidden trait like being overly aggressive. He just popped again in ID this past Friday and today has fouled out early in the game as i mentioned against not that amazing of opponents.

They vary all up and down between in league D.III and the cup tournament which is the problem. If he was getting into consistent foul trouble against the 50+ k salaried bigs thats one thing but even look at my most recent match in the cup tourney where he fouled out after like 17 minutes and look at the opposing teams roster. Thats why im starting to get concerned here.

I got into D.III Last season not this one and as i mentioned above, this isnt just against in conference D.III opponents. Read my initial comment and youll see hes progressively getting into more foul trouble each season regardless of who im competing against despite him gradually growing skill wise specifically in his defensive abilities. Mind you he also has exceptional stamina for a big. Why is he literally playing worse in fouls the better he gets in his defensive skills while also having the stamina to maintain his defensive play? Please only comment if you have a legitimate input please. Not trying to be rude or mean but simply saying "Welcome to division III" isnt saying anything especially when the issue extends beyond just in division play which can be seen in my most recent cup match.

He had 4 fouls tonight which i expected given the competition. Him fouling out in 17 minutes against lesser competition is something that a foul prone player would do but he hasnt shown that tendency before in his earlier years.

Iv been running a 3-2 zone defense for about the last 3 or so seasons with him typically at PF sometimes at C. His outside defense could be better but given how he did last season against some of the same competition and with about the same number of minutes its odd that overall his defensive ability has grown but so has his fouling frequency. Its disheartening to train someone and feel like maybe youve been wasting your time all along instead of just buying everyone.

Ill keep monitoring it as he continues to grow in his defensive set. Iv stopped training shotblocking already as i know training that too high can have a potentially adverse effect. Inside/outside defense are already high/somewhat decent. Its hard to tell where his fouls are coming from right now because the player wouldnt even let me watch the 4th quarter tonight. Apparently all 4 of his fouls came during that quarter.

Thanks for the thoughtful response
