Just thought I'd get a thread started for the new season and see what everyone thinks of their teams.

I know that we are still training after re-tooling last season but hoping to stay competitive. Looks like we have some pretty good teams n the league so should be a fun ride.

Good luck to all except for when you play Baba Yaga!

I will try hard not to get relegated this year but it will be pretty tough. Like you said lots of good teams and some real powerhouses at the top. May you all be injury free and lets make some noise in the tournament.

Sold three players in the off-season, hoping to have at least got a couple of replacements by now but haven't been able to thus far. I'm looking to improve on the last few seasons, having been in d3 a few seasons now but probably won't do much this season.

I am again in the middle of decision. Have a very good team but still not good enough, plus salary cap is getting me on the limit. I am still training main players to be on top for next season but still...dont know if that will be enough. Thats why i am thinking about reseting a team, earn a good money and just try not to be relegated in IV league.
But i have emotional attachment on players)

Hi all!

I am worried, because i decided not to sell my best player at the end of last season. And now I'm struggling with the economy weighing like a ton.
Just like last season, I will try to survive in this league, while still training "Stinky" Aphesteguy, as I think he could make it to our NT.
The odds are clearly against us.

That emotional attachment can be tough. I went through that last season when I sold my best two players. One of them I had drafted and trained for 12 seasons. Sometimes just have to do what is best for the franchise though. I don't envy your decision though. Personally, I woold vote for a sell off because I hate playing your team right now! The problem is then you'd come back even stronger. Good luck either way.

I can see where it would be tough to build around a $124K player in D3. I guess you have to hope to get lucky and find some good contributors at lower salaries.

And Yeah! I do realize it’s impossible and almost suicidy… but don’t want to let him go without a few more pops.
I suppose next season will find me in IV, restarting almost as mine first utopian time.)

PS: sorry about Rodgers and team. I thought they’ll make it to the Super Bowl.

:) I think we are making a good rivalry in last seasons. Matches are always decided by some minor things. Sory, had to go 100% on you, since i want my fans to be on a home game.
And i will do this year till the end, after this season i wont be able to survive with the budget because of trainees.

Your team just seems to have our number! No worries though. Like you said, the games are always close and it does always come down to just one thing usually.

I'm happy with the start of the season for us. Still training two players so lineup a little jumbled right now. Hoping to be in a position at end of the year to make a little noise. Time will tell. Long way to go.
