It's time.....

As we get ready to begin Season 58 the Front Office has decided to look to the future and not keep knocking on the door of a D2 promotion.
After 2 straight seasons of reaching the Finals, and not advancing, GM Powers was heard to say "we obviously do not have the right mix of guys to get us over the hump". One option was be to try and bring in a big salary player to maybe stir things up, but at the end of the day, finances just would not allow it.
So, some key players have already been moved and the decision to start all 1st or 2nd year guys is the plan for this season. Hopefully this strategy will help re-build the bank accounts AND bring us that franchise type player in next year's draft.
To the Baba Yaga fans: We hope that you still come out and support these young players with the knowledge that next season will be a quick bounce back year.
