I played against ouside box +1. My best scorer IS/DR/JS > 20 took 1 inside shot in a low post offense.
His +1 was Grusauskas who has 11 ID. My SF should dominiate him inside like a child.
My best inside scorer took 1 out of 52 inside shots!!!
GM/Devs please can you check it!

Yep. Or if the team focuses all their attention on that player others should be getting easy baskets. I said this on discord a few months ago:

Your best defender guards the best player, which can be an effective junk defense if your opponent has one star player. That's the main strength. Don't know what it's like for rebounding as for zones in BB you can't make assumptions based on real basketball.

Box defenses are now clearly over-powered in BB as teams are deploying it against any team, any offensive tactic and not suffering a severe downside.

so i believe box defenses MIGHT be overpowered in the highest level of BB, like NT and some B3 teams, but for everyone else it should be a defense that you can beat, but you can also play it yourself as a viable defensive tactic


So it's not a bug, this is how they want box defenses to work.

So it's not a bug, this is how they want box defenses to work.

Box is a bit overpowered, but that is not the topic in this case.I think it is a bug. Because the +1 should play m2m against the best outside scorer. So in this case his 11 ID player plays against my inside/outside monster in low post and my player shot 1!!! time inside.
This is not how they want to implement the box I guess.

I would rather say that it should play him like he has 14 IS. After 3 points, any point above does not count apparently. There is no child in BB.

As for a low post tactic, i always played low post with my best inside player as a PF or a C. But then again i may lack your creativity. If i want to play out of position, i try inside isolation. I may be wrong, but this is what i beleive.

SF in general has same Inside shot count then C/PF if you don't count tip ins after rebounds.
It is absolutely not possible to shoot 1/52 of inside shots as the best shooter against a weak defender.

it is for every skill matchup shooter/passer vs defender. But we should come back to my bug report. How is it possible that a player with IS 20+ doesn't try to shoot against a ID 11 player in a low post offense while his team mates made 51 shots with much worse inside skills?

There were three different defenders on four defended shots. This is a far too small sample. It even doesn't show, that your player was the best chosen shooter from the game engine.
You need a far higher sample than just this one game. Than you can find out, what happened. But one game is just not reliable. If you have a scale from 0 to 100, this game could be at the edge of one side. I ran around 30-50 games per tactic to generate a big enough data overview.
