Wild to see so many great managers in here! I recognize a lot of you from Discord and it's awesome to be among some of the greatest players the USA has ever seen.

I'd be absolutely shocked if I stick around, I'm planning on tanking back down to D3, but I will certainly enjoy the ride.

Cheers to a great season! Remember to stay hydrated!

Don't forget to drink water!

I realize my opinion here will put me in the minority of most users, but I think the fact that a fair sized portion of the user base in this game prefers to communicate about it using a 3rd party program outside of the game forums, and indeed the game itself, is ruining the game. There is too much discussion about the game itself and it's future happening on Discord instead of inside the game itself.

Look no further that the new owners who, in case you haven't noticed, only communicate withing the game forms when somebody criticizes them or calls them out on an issue. And even then, they take no responsibility for ther lack of communication. If you can't tell, it annoys me. A lot.

Now get off my lawn!

Nothing like a 2OT game to ruin your players game shape to start the season. Made worse that for the 3rd or 4th time in a row I've had a player injured for the rest of the game when my opponent uses CT (why anyone would use CT in Game #1 is beyond me).

I think the reason why Discord is utilized so much now is because over time, the forums in the game have straight up died and are fairly inactive overall. They are also fairly difficult to navigate for new users and that is simply due to how they were initially set up when the game was created. Our USA discord naturally became a centralized location for users across the game (though it wasn't really supposed to be) and I think when the new owners came in they made their "official" discord as that is the modern way to communicate nowadays. Not saying it is the correct way to operate, because I agree more things should be brought into the game, just saying that is why I think that has happened.

I think we are perfectly aligned on your second paragraph. The communication and how the new ownership have operated to this point has been absolutely terrible. I have some more thoughts on all that but I will keep them to myself lol.

I see you still have your trio of u21 guards you trained for me a few seasons back......I am excited (but also not excited) to play against them.....best of luck this season!!

Well this is going the quite the finish to the league. Five teams in the big 8 still have a shot of not only making the playoffs but also winning the whole thing. And let’s not forget about Delaware who made the quarterfinals of the USA tournament! The great 8 too is quite contested as well. Who knows who will win that conference? There are certainly some teams I would like to avoid if I can. Good luck to everyone except those who I don’t want to play.

Well that is it. I want to thank everyone for a great season. This was by far my hardest challenge to overcome. I don’t want to sound too conceited here but I am impressed that I was able to pull off this title and win my 3 promotion in a row. I will try my best to make it 4 in a row next season in the NBBA.
